I foolishly made the mistake of purchasing a 240v 1000w ballast and now I'm trying to figure out how to make it work. I can't post the link because I just registered, but I found something on amazon that seems like it would work. The title is:
Pyle voltage converter Step Up and Down AC 110/220 Volts Transformer with USB Charging Port, 1000 Watt
Would this product solve my issues? If not I suppose I'll have to try and return the ballast and get a 120v one. I'd rather just buy this transformer and get it working though...

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

Is it the 240v only model or the switching type ballast that can be used with 110 or 240?

240v only. Really stupid mistake and I'm kicking myself for it. I just learned its best when using a converter to buy one with a wattage capacity twice that of what you're plugging into it. So maybe a 2000w one would suffice.

I’d just swap it out for the correct one.

I'm just going to hope they accept the refund and go ahead with purchasing a proper ballast. Thanks guys.

Depending on where you bought it from should be no issue.

3rd party seller on Amazon. The return button was still available and amazon says if I hear no response within 2 days then I can file a claim. I think I'll be alright. Aside from feeling like a dumbass, all is well, lol.
