You know what's funny is when I can't get my lawn to straighten out I use piss. Every time I use piss on my grass it is so luscious, green and it grows out of control. So my neighbor comes over and is standing in my yard in his bare feet, I was so close to telling him what I did. But I thought better of it and told him it was a compost tea of lots of left over stuff. I was thinking if I used piss on my bud my friends would tell me oh this is so great what did you do to it? Oh, a compost tea of lots of left over stuff, i.e. piss.
Yeah like I said I tested it on my house plants and it was like " BOOM" great greeen color and new growth...miracle gro aint got shit on urea for my house plants lol

proof that you smoke pee weed,thats just gross!
ignorant.
Agreed my man! I think its just the ick factor that people cant get over lol. However I am just going to do it this year! Im kinda excited
use urine at a dilution of 15-20 to one.
typically a bladder full in 4 gallons of water is perfect.
the macro is roughly 15% nitrogen.
NO phosphorus though, not sure where you heard that.
I have used urine as a fertilizer roughly about 100 times at least.
extremely effective for vigorous outdoor growing plants.
roughly the same macro as blood meal, only 100% soluble.
as far as the other people that advise heavily against it, I simply don't agree with them.

the percentage of sodium is about .6%.
dilute that by 15 or 20 parts of water and the sodium "concern"
is negligible.

I have been reading article after article about using your urine as a nitrogen source. It not only is a good nitrogen source but also is high in your phos.
You are suppose to dilute it 10/1 ratio.
Anyone in organic growing try this with your grow????
I tested it out on house plants and a week later ...well...wow.
Any thoughts?????
you'd be shocked at how the plant processes the nitrogen from urine (urea) in the EXACT same way as chemical nitrogen.
I like dilution of 15 to one over ten to one.
it's something that I don't use regularly, now that my soil mix/compost is dialed in perfect I found I don't add anything except silica and aloe
but for outside plants, especially bamboos, lavender, jasmine, roses, etc, the FAST growing plants LOVE it.

Actually everything I read said it has about the same npk as commercial fert. The things I read are actual studies not from forums

I dont know how dialed in mine will be this year. My nute tester said its a little weak on the n side of things. Not by much. I may only end up using it like twice at the most. Glad to hear of other people knowing of this and using it. AWESOME!

Nutrients in human urine

When we eat food, our kidneys filter out excess nutrients that our body is unable to use, and these nutrients are then expelled from the body in our urine. Our urine contains significant levels of nitrogen, as well as phosphorous and potassium (typically an N-P-K ratio around 11 – 1 – 2.5, similar to commercial fertilizers). Americans produce about 90 million gallons of urine a day, containing about 7 million pounds of nitrogen. Studies conducted in Sweden (Sundberg, 1995; Drangert, 1997)

yur a dumbass to use your own piss dude,its just fucking sick,whats next shit and jizz?

i couldnt give a shit if it doubled my yield,just the thought is beyond disguisting to me....to each their own,but dont fuckin call me ignorant

I do not think your ignorant. I get it ..I really do. Seems to me plants love sick stuff...dead fish (like the indians use to use for ferts) shit from all animals ( including humans I.e. composting toilets) point being its only us who thinks its gross...plants love it. So to each their own. Enough scientific studies to back up what is being talking about.

@cannabineer

Sodium and the amount you excrete, on any diet, is the limiting factor and then, of course, there's the Typhoid, CMV and Schistosomiasis risks to name three health risks off the top of my head. Worse is if the urine is from a female you will get all your external genitalia colonizers.

I called CN he's a Chemist so what he says will be definitive.

The trouble with N from P(ee) is that you have as much or more sodium (by ppm) in it than nitrogen. The sodium locks out the N and K. So no matter how you dilute, you're stuck in the corner that the sodium hurts more than the nitrogen helps.

Indeed correct.
As for the typhoid, that is usually only an issue in a dysfunction of the typhoid gland. (Your first name wasn't Mary, perchance?) However it is very easy to mask these symptoms by stimulating the paratyphoid, which can be done by the use of diuretics. (Meds, not a religious paperback.) Naturally this disturbs the nutrient ratio in the materia discussa.
CMV was more of a problem before the auto legislation of 1974 which mandated the installation of a CMV valve. If you have any doubt, smog the donor's urethra. Beware of reverse clean-pipers who eat much asparagus to raise N and finagle their urine sodium.
Can't much comment about Schistosomiasis as I stopped following music soon after My Chemical Romance lost the love.

Buy me a beer and I will expound all night about colonizing external genitalia. Tactics. Logistics. Objective. I hear there will be a sand table and an open bar

Problem is the OP's anecdotal experience of a few uses won't demonstrate the problem - it's cumulative.

Oh dear bear! What were you drinking let's see:
typhoid = thyroid
paratyphoid = parathalamus
CMV = PCV

As for the Schistosomiasis, Gesundheit, zerspring!

Two suggestions. 0.6% diluted by 20 is 0.03% which is 300ppm. That is lockout level sodium. The problem is compounded by the sodium staying in the soil ... cumulative lockout.

The other is plant-specific. Lots of house and garden plants are quite tolerant of sodium and can use the nitrogen. I pee on my lawn regularly. However Cannabis is quite sodium-sensitive, like say Arctostaphylos species. So sodium plus plants OK except when the plants are no good at shedding it.
