[URGENT] PLANTS ARE OUTGROWING TENT

No you said some strains love it and some hate it. That is very strong terminology, about as strong as it gets, so it is surely based on your solid findings. So what strains love it and what strains hate it?.

For the record, are you saying some strains don't do better in hot arid condition's?.
My ripper seeds braincake didn't like it much but still yeiled pretty good. I think it's because she's not generally a leafy plant to begin with. Even the buds don't have much leaf on them. Most other strains I've ran are fine with it. I dont do it to autos.
I've never seen a strain that does better in wet humid environments.... I've yet to see a plant do 'poorly' in a dry environment.

So essentially sativas/leaning don't have the leaf mass to somewhat mitigate the butchering, I'd call that a clear sign.

If you spend 2 minutes outside in -1, then get into a 5c bath, it will feel warm, relativity. 30% humidity will make 80F ambiants feel like 90. Level one fan speed will feel like level 2. These are not concepts, just like wind chill factor is not a concept for mountaineers. Plants with more leaf mass transpire more, plants with less, transpire less, it's simple. Not all strains will apreciate 30% humidity at 80 temps, fox tailing perhaps, easier light, heat or wind stress, easier to drought with heavy foliage and respiration demands. You are in a contradictory corner. You say some strains love or hate defoliation, yet something far more substantial, such as extreme arid conditions, makes no difference strain to strain. Is the cactus a joke?, why are there no jungles in deserts?.

I will say I somewhat agree with some of what you say. It I think you're making too much of a big deal about 30% rh though. 80 degrees really isn't that warm. Over 85? I could see that. I'm not really in a corner. I never said I agree with you that strains that don't like to be defoliated don't like it because they don't like low rh. The leaves grow back you just end up with smaller sized fan leaves while the plants budding. After they grow back Ill only remove troublesome leaves in the way or creating micro climates in between other leaves and buds. No cactus joke. Something's wrong with mine but I can't put my finger on it.:hump:
There's no jungles in the desert?
What about the Yatir Forest in the Negev desert
If you were to go into a 5° bath you would get hypothermia because your body temp is 37°
Your logic is flawed Gilbert

Well, I stand corrected, jungles exist in deserts o0. I don't think you understood the temperature thing. Your nerves can literally be tricked to think 5c water is warm, so long as you start from a colder point. The reverse is true, when you are in 35-40 heat, water at 30c will taste coldish. Go cool off and drink that same water, and then it's warm again.

Anyway, I've had enough of arguing so much recently, so gl with what you do.

•4 Plants (Bagseed)
•3 Weeks Into 12/12
•2x2 Tent
Plants Have Gotten Out Of Control.
FTG So I Honestly Didn’t Know The Dangers Of Not Doing LST/Topping etc Early On In The VEG Stage.
So Other Than Topping,What Can I Do To Resolve The Situation?
Grow Space Is Limited Also,So Getting A Larger Tent Is Kind Of Out Of The Question...
Yeah... you need a haircut..... go extreme

Chop the top 3rd of the plant off the top... chop every shoot.
If he could do that then try and root the long cuttings by the time these are done flowering those will be ready to start. Need 2 rooms though for different lights.

He'd just end up with more giants if he did that. Could just take cuts... and bin these plants... root for 2 weeks and go straight into flower with loads of small plants. I woukd probably just keep one cutting and then use that as a mother later.
