So it's been a few weeks since original post plants seem to be growing at a normal rate. Leaves are disintegrating or not growing in entirety. Starts at new growth. PH is at 6 really don't want to go 12 and 12 until I got a better idea. All ideas are welcome thanks

Grow details ....

Nutes... Type and How much
Water ( ro / distilled / tap )
Lights
Temps
Medium used
Bugs ?

Those are some wonky looking leaves - mutations / genetics ?
Seems that it shows symmetry in leaf distortions ( same on both sides )

What strain is this ?

I use gh 3 part with advanced formula at around 600 ppm although I've topped off with tap water a time or two so there around 475 ppm right now. This would include flora blend diamond nectar and cal mag I used 100 ml of each of these in 55 gallon results plus the 3 part some hydroguard flora + and rapid start as well. Use tap water never had trouble with before.
Cindi 99 and blue og from g13 are the strains.
I have a 250 metal halide and a 600 metal halide over them the 600 is dialed down to 400. Temps are around 70 I have my ac on.
I'm in hydroton these are new bags I rinsed well.
I sprayed some peppermint oil 2 oz to 1 qt water a few weeks ago for mites nothing since going to use some avid here soon as well for mite control

I don’t like to say this but it looks like you have pests still. Close ups of the leaves may confirm.

If you only did pest control once it probably barely hurt the colony.

It is recommended to spray 3 times over a week or so to make sure all bugs and eggs are dead.

Leave a bug or an egg and 1000 may be back in days.

Either way it is hard to see on my phone without some closer pics of the bad leaves.

I'm sure there's a mite or two but nothing causing this

Roots look great coming out of the bottom of my net pots hard to say beyond that one of the disadvantages of my ebb n flow over dwc

Does it get better, worse, or the same, when your ebb drains?
I havn't used ebb and flow before. Doesnt it fill from the bottom, then drain?
Is it just one plant, or all of them?
Im assuming you're using rockwool. If its only one plant, is it filling properly during a feed?

Otherwise, i dont think i know either sorry.
You're positive, it isn't just a genetic freak, and its just the way its leaves grew?

I'm in hydroton the plants defiantly did better when i cut my feeding down it seems to have effected all plants even different strains although it did not show any signs in my aero cloner the plants are growing at a fine rate just weird stuff going on with the leaves seems to get worse the longer from rez change gonna get a different barrel tommarow in case something funky leeched into the plastic

I'd say it could be genetic but I do have 3 different strains sure seems like a disease my dilemma is to flower don't wanna put my hopes and dreams into vegging large plants I could also start over.

Maybe try cutting your feed just a touch more?
It might be getting too strong when it dries a little?
Might even be worth more regular feeds?
Sorry mate im unsure.

I reckon screw it, and give the freak a chance :bigjoint:
Ya never know......
Worthwhile experiment in a way.
I do see your point though. Time is money.
