I read months ago the senate didn't like the language of the bills and wasn't going to vote on them.
I don't know shit about politics, but I waited as long as I could before getting our extraction system.
This was all voted in several years ago. Red tape is one thing, but son of a bitch, people are sick and
the world has caught on to the fact the mj helps them.

A vote most likely won't happen until September but I'm hopeful for sooner
Right. I just hope they just get it out of senate committee. I think it's hilarious that Richardville went from saying he will put this on the back burner in committee as long as he possibly can to completely flip flopping and even dropped off invitations to a fundraiser he was throwing at the hydro store I work at.

He has to since he can not serve another term in the senate. I'm sure he needs our money to fund a race for a federal congressional position in 2016, and that is why he is flip flopping. Politicians can now see on paper the amount of money that this industry can produce, and no longer have to base their decisions on speculation.

I think that it is sad that the supreme court has ruled the way it has over the last 24 months, but this was needed to clarify our rights that were stripped from us by the court.

I was just reading an article in the Detroit Free Press entitled Cops come to the rescue of Commerce Township pot grower when I saw this nugget at the end: "And in Lansing, Michigan's lame-duck legislature is poised Thursday to pass a state law that would significantly broaden access to medical marijuana, allowing communities to decide whether to allow shops that would sell medicinal cannabis to state-licensed patients." I've heard rumblings about the dispensary bill coming up in the lame duck but this is the first thing I've seen in print. Anybody else heard anything?

I am so fucking tired of listening to police officer's opinions on much of anything these days. "I think it's a gateway drug". "I think this makes people want to become drug dealers."

What a bunch of jacked up meatheads

MM is already available to buy in some places and not others. What is needed is a law telling the communities that they HAVE to allow sales since people NEED the drug and not everybody has a car or can drive 20 mins or more one way to buy their medicine. Tie it in with liquor stores, if hard liquor is available to buy in the communities, then they should have to allow MM sales to go on.

Pisses me off so much that I can buy a bottle of hard booze until 1 or 2 am just by taking a walk down my street but I gotta drive least 20 mins one way to buy MM
