This is my 3rd UC build. My first is a 4 site with 5 gallon buckets and 15 gallon epicenter with 1 1/2 spa tubing and 3/4" return to a 584 gph pump.
Second was a veg box in a 50 gallon storage box with 3 one gallon containers and a 3 gallon epicenter.
Will post more picks soon.

This build is 14 X 15 gallon containers and a 50 gallon epicenter. 2" abs tubing and a 1" return. I a still trying to resource the right in line water pump. I think I need close to 2000gph.View attachment 3270181View attachment 3270180 View attachment 3270177 View attachment 3270180 View attachment 3270181 View attachment 3270177 View attachment 3270177 View attachment 3270180 View attachment 3270181

So is this aquaponics? I've always wanted to try it actually. I really like the idea having an ecosystem handy. I would probably do talapia or something edible but I have no idea what your goals are here.

What are the fish for in this setup?

Last night I got a ton accomplished.

I wired in the breaker box to 10 gauge power. Providing 30 amp breaker from the main box. Wire it into a surge protector.

Installed air pump and all my lines. Diffusers will go in tomorrow.

Here are some pics of what it looks like.
I am trying to nurse back 2 plants that are struggling and I found a seed start!

Ok. The Reveg and veg of these girls is going pretty good for first run in this system.

What I am very impressed by in the aquaponics with the NOW 8 Goldfish is working! !
I am getting some very nice clean root balls forming. I could never keep them this clean in nutrients with the zero maintenance they are currently getting.

Only one plant is not taking to the transplanting and I will probably trim it alot and leave only new growth, them wash the roots our with the garden hose then an RO water dip before going back in its grow site.
The grunt 8 had isn't showing any growth but it still has some roots and some green leaves.

I order 3 Mars II 1200w LED light and I hung 2 and have them running for 12/12 now and the light is so freaking bright?! It make the plants look crazy cool too!
I will upload some pictures of the lights, roots and new growth.
Tomorrow I will tell you more about the new lights and my modification U will be making to my Mother tent undercurrent setup.

Hope everyone enjoys they shots. Just remember these girls have been over stressed way to much buy are still alive.

Lookin good DubC

FYI, a tote half that size will work as well, and probably better, as smaller would reduce the amount of nutes needed to make a cycle

I use ~ 5g totes, but F & D
