whichever moderator moves this to the concentrates and extracts section is dead to me.

so i have (x3) 5 gallon buckets. 220, 120, 90, and 45 micron bubble bags which i just paid a shitload for. 30 pounds of ice, 3 gallons of distilled (0 ppm) water, an ice chest, different types of agitators, a drying rack, and 5 ounces of top shelf very close sugar leaf trim.

apparently i'm supposed to layer the ice and trim inside the 220 bag (work bag) inside the 5 gallon bucket, add cold water, let it sit a few minutes, and then agitate it.

for the first run, just agitate for a few minutes, drain the work bag and set aside (in ice chest for good keeping). dump the water carefully into the layered 120/90/45 micron bags, and drain/remove the bags one by one.

and boom, should be some hash at the bottom of the bags which you then collect.scrape onto the drying rack.

maybe do a second run with greater agitation for a longer time, same process.

@Garden Boss , how badly am i gonna fail?

@Pinworm , will i end up just stomping it down the drain?

@mr sunshine , i am more mexican than you are.

What's the end product like? I.e appearance, texture, physical traits.

I've been making a crude qwizo outta my trim; brown tar but it keeps me sane and marginally socially acceptable
if done right, it should be golden/blond.

it looks like (from what little research i've done) it may turn out greenish or brownish if you suck at it.

no idea about texture or other characteristics.

Freeze material first.
Dont blend in your bag. Blend in a bucket then pour into bags.
Stir gently with a wooden spoon for a low yield of blonde bubble full melt.
Or
Stir the fuck out of it for max yield of harsh brick.

You're gonna fuck it up.
I guess we differ.

trim has been freezing for a week or so.

will go steal my condensate bucket out of the garage and use it to mix.

grabbing the wooden spoon.

I do 200gram runs. I usually get about 28 grams from good trim.

I use a washing machine/s and run for 1hr(4-15 min. cycles)per batch. Zero greenery in my product.

How much are we dealing with? Get some good bags they are usually inexpensive. make sure you clean them between runs.
