Hey forum,

Was just wondering whats the laws about the owner of entering the property on a rented and leased property.

I'm looking to buy a nice cheap place to grow because obviously dont want to where i live but cant afford to buy so i will have to rent or similar, whats the rules on them entering the property, i know rented can after 48h of notice but not sure about leased, and if so how can i grow in peace :(?

I won't be able to give a fully educated reply, but fro my experience it completely depends on the landlord/estate agent. Was renting my last place for about 3 years and had 1 visit from the estate agent to check the place and 2 visits from the landlord right at the end before we moved out. A tip would just be seeing what sort of people you will be dealing with in all.
hope this was of some help at all.

As far as im aware they have to give 24hrs notice minimum if they want to come round and do an inspection or repairs nut may enter in an "emergency" without notice ( i.e. fire/flood/etc)

Why not just grow where you live? Providing you dont go overboard you will be fine.

Also if you rent a property your name will be all over the tenancy, you will have to be credit checked etc so police will easily find you anyway so no real difference in risk whether you grow at home or rent a place.
