Nobody should be smoking hash =( it's rubbish compared to bud...unless it's a mix your smoking bongsmilie
Hee, hee ... you haven't smoked MY hash, Bro. Its ass kicking.

There is a way around the draconian drug laws and here it is: Take responsibility for yourself as a citizen. Here in the United States, we have the constitutional right to a jury trial, judged by 12 of our peers. If you are registered to vote, you will be getting a jury summons to possibly serve on a jury. NEVER, NEVER try to get out of this most important civic duty. While serving on a jury, you will have the opportunity to judge the guilt or innocence of the defendant. It only takes one juror to "vote" not guilty for the defendant to go free. So ... if you serve on a jury, and the case involves a NON-violent drug arrest and prosecution, all you have to do is vote not guilty, and the police, district attorney and the entire criminal justice system gets their asses handed back to them. That's about it. :)

it's not that bad...lol

being in a school zone does make it a high grade felony to have a joint though, or even just a seed if you get technical.

Hey I just got fined $250 for an empty Pot pipe here in Texas.
AS bad as that is, and it is bad, it beats the life sentence handed down in Texas 40 some years ago for a joint. I read that in Playboy 40 years ago, I wonder if the dude got an early release, maybe got lucky and only did 20 years~LOL~!

True Med Texas law used to be that tough.
But the laws have changed since. Possession of less than 2 ounces is a class B misdemeanor.
Hey I got caught growing here back in 2000, (there isn’t a cultivation law on the books.) I was charged with simple possession and got 2 years probation and a $2,000 fine…. My probation Officer was a quadriplegic and couldn’t follow me into the bathroom come UA time. (I was only tested 3 times in 2 years) So I used to sneak in clean urine. I stayed high the whole time. Even told the probation officer after my probation was done, he told me that he knew it. Funny thing is, as long as I’m in my own county, the police don’t give a shit… Me and the Sherriff had a little meeting and I told him that I use for medical purposes. I told him that he could keep busting me and when I get out I was still going to use marijuana or he could leave me alone and quit wasting tax payer’s money. He chose the latter.
When I was busted with the pipe, I was out of my county and was searched by a state trooper.

Isn't it funny on how some of the toughest states have moved into a less strict rulebook than some of your Yuppie High fallutin northeast states, New Hamshire, Maine etc, Nevada used to have a billboard on the stateline with Calif. that stated, sell drugs, go to jail for life and they included Marijuana in Drugs. Now they are one of the most liberal. I think the cops are too busy investigating all the murders and suicides created by gambling failures, to worry about Pot! plus all the meth labs and crimes keep them pretty busy.
They never talk about the suicides here, in the paper or the TV, but Nevada Has one of, if not the highest suicide rate in the nation. We also have our share of meth labs, but lately (last couple of years) the Vegas busts have been going down. Thats due to the fact the Meth chemists have moved their operations out of town to Pahrumph and Sandy Valley, in fact I've heard that Sandy Valley is a large supplier to LA.. There are quite a few members of the outlaw Biker gang out there, and if you have a spread like 5 acres , its easier to disberse the smell! They had a guy shoot his wife 6 times in the front entrance to a casino for gambling away the family fortune and it never hit the news, maybe on the back page, but hotel security kept the news guys off the property all the way to the street, the only way I found out was a friend of a friend was working the area as a valet parker and the guy opened up about ten feet from him, he said he hit the deck and crawled behind a stone trash container, when the gun was empty, he dropped it and waited for the security to place him in custody. In other cities that would be front page news!

I'm sorry about my (poor) judgement and your penal system. I was only trying to inject a little humour, and I (and suspect many others in the UK) have no idea about your laws and punishments, let alone each state having it's own. Those fuckers (lawmakers)work hard eh?

Here we are not as harsh in sentencing here, but in many cases not hard enough.

Peace:joint:

i`m glad i live in london, i think the cops would get laughed at if they took
you down the station for a bit off weed.
although you get the odd jobsworth that will pull you in.
if i was living in the us i would get confused by the diffrent laws in diffrent
states.

STEAL A LITTLE AND THEY THROUGH YOU IN JAIL
STEAL A LOT AND THEY MAKE YOU KING

I think they would only do that to him if he was caught under the influence or had multiple strikes against him like beign caught before dealing than i can kinda understand why the sentance is sooooo severe for a fuckin J but seriously thats just retarted

One of the main reasons why the war on drugs is so harsh on marijuana, when its the most benevolent, non-violent drug you could use, is because Nancy Ragen choose it and cocaine as the two main drugs to police in the 80s. In the 80s, there where shakey politics with Turkey so they couldn't stop the poppy producers from making and bringing heroine to the streets, but the US could however bully our south of the border neighbor Mexico as this was the main country bringing in Cocaine and shitty Mexican weed.

THE WAR ON DRUGS WILL NEVER STOP! ITS A FUCKING ENDLESS CYCLE! Legalize marijuana already and put that money back into our public education system. Sometimes I think marijuana has been legalized already because it's fucking job security for the DEA. There will always be a "war" on drugs so there will always be cops looking to fuck people over.

My girlfriend got arrested for a similiar situation over $4 worth of pot brownies at a music festival and she is facing 2 felonies at 20 years old! I'm fucking over the police bullying people.
