Trying to make Lactobacillus, does this look old?

The title says it all. I bottled up my rice wash in a 2qt jar, but it’s been sitting there for almost a month, is the liquid in the middle still good to use? Here’s a picture down below

Good! I’m buying some milk that has been pasturized low temperature, non homogenized, where cream rises to the top. The shit is expensive, so I don’t want to waste my money on it. I’m look forward to making my own fish hydrosolate as well as fermented fruit juice
