America would not be uninhabitable. We would have a lil fallout issue and that's all.

North Korea, South Korea, Japan... These places would suffer incredible numbers of casualties and be as uninhabitable as Fukushima.

And the rest of the planet would hate us for a thousand years.
Dude your claim to fame is growing plants sideways so please don't talk about nuclear technology.

You can't even be objective about politics, leave science alone.

The fallout and aftermath would be practically nothing, it would take thousands of bombs to make anything uninhabitable.

It's not the movies...

You display the arrogance of the terminally ignorant every day, it's no surprise that on this subject you're running true to form.

'the fallout and aftermath would be practically nothing'. If this is the case, why have residents of the districts near Fukushima been told they'll never get to go home? Why is the area around Chernobyl considered permanently uninhabitable? Congratulations, you've reached a new low; 'dangerously stupid'.

Because the DPRK is building weapons purely for their deterrent value, he's very likely to enhance their value in this regard by employing the use of extremely radioactive contaminants, specifically to poison large areas of land, including cities and other built up areas.

It's in fact a trivial technical problem to build conventional explosive fired dirty bombs that can contaminate city sized areas and unlucky districts downwind.

Kim has made it clear that an attack upon him will trigger precisely such retribution, and there is a certain precedent; Saddam ordered every oil well in his country to be set ablaze to deny them to his enemies.

The scariest fact of nuclear technology is that such materials are very easy to come by and are in fact difficult and expensive to contain so they don't cause widespread damage.

I realize that your ignorance is incurable and your stupidity impenetrable, Stinkydigit.

I'm including these facts for others who will read this. Everyone else needs to know the truth.

A nuclear reactor breaching containment and potentially melting down into the groundwater and a fission bomb detonated above a city are two completely seperate things.

Try keep up, retard.

Who's even talking about dirty bombs except you?

As usual you're confused and frustrated because you're confronted with someone who knows what they're talking about.

Have you seen the area around Chernobyl recently btw? Wildlife is flourishing in the absence of humans and showing no sign of illness or birth defect.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

By all means, keep bleating about how much you know.

Good job!! I'm all for it! Do you think N Korea would really fight us in a all out war? Potus is not scared of anything WOOT!!
North Korea has nothing to lose. They are economically, and educationally remote. The masses are told lies about their leader and the rest of us from day one. They are taught that the US is Satan and needs to be destroyed. They absolutely will fight us. Our Orange Julius Cesar leader is just the right monkey to take the bait. Will they be able to hit mainland US? Maybe. I do believe they will try if pushed. I live in Southern California, so maybe ill get to see it. Am i afriad? Fuck that little bitch.

South Korea is seriously in the weeds. The capital is only 60 miles or so from the DPRK. North Korea has one of the largest standing army in the world at over 1,200,000 players. They have mandatory service between 3 and 5 years. Thankfully they have no budget. Diplomacy would be nice right about now. Instead we have a frazzled muppet with an ax to grind... bad combo.

North Korea wants a nuke to deter US invasion. Nobody can avoid retaliation if they launch, so, not going to happen. S Korea is nonplussed. We should follow their example.

Trump has been doing what he always does, which is seek lower level to his opponent. North Korea acts like a bitch, Trump does a double bitch. Media loves it because ad revenue.

As usual you can't dispute what was said so you bend over, spread your cheeks (Padawan could help you there), shit out some bullshit and declare victory.

You're obviously on the spectrum, dude.
LOL. Classic tty histrionic fit.

Tty, this is probably too much to ask but, think about it. Did everybody exposed to fallout at Hiroshima and Nagasaki die? Are Hiroshima and Nagasaki uninhabitable for the next thousand years? Those bombs were dirtier than the modern versions.

Don't stop posting Ninja. The ignorant have endless supply of bullshit.

Trump is over. He's been broke by the deep state. As nation after nation drops the dollar. And the U.S. is whored out. The ultra rich that own this country are losing control. The world powers are changing. The Soviets fell, now it's our turn.

North Korea is a strategic excuse of a dying government. The ultimate bluff. The federal government gave them the nuclear bomb technology for a reason/excuse to start WW3. What a shame that the common person will die fighting for a bank account...

Over the DPRK? LOL, you're delusional! He's by turns a useful idiot or an annoyance to them, nothing more. He is most CERTAINLY not an ally worth going to war for!

They sure as fuck aren't going to risk nuclear annihilation by picking a fight with history's greatest and deadliest nuclear power over that fat lil turd running a worthless patch full of starving peasants!

GTFO! Lol

You do have a strange sense of humor, I'll give you that!
You're not serious, are you? China would not stand idly by if we nuked NK.

This smells like a HPS LED debate, or a conversation on whether or not to defoliate.
HPS vs LED is about trade-offs and how older tech takes a much longer time to be replaced than innovators imagine.

Nuking North Korea has a different feel to it. I mean, what's the trade-off? Don't or do?

Nobody is going to nuke anybody. The US threatens North Korea and North Korea wants a deterrent. End of story.

The more I think about it the more I believe that Trump calling Kim a "tiny dancer" would have been better. I suspect that "rocket man" doesn't seem too bad when one considers the probable translation of language and culture. It might even sound strong and dashing. Trump missed an opportunity. He should have said "Kim Jong Un considers himself to be a rocket man but he is really a tiny dancer - dancing on the edge of nuclear Armageddon". That's how I would have played it - but I have a better staff; two really smart cats, a wife and a nearly three year old son.
