Trimpro Unplugged Video Review

The summer is usually my worse season as far as having MS flare ups etc. Getting real sick and tired of trimming my medicine I started to look into automatic trimmers to help with the job. Most of the trimmers I saw were more geared towards larger operations and larger harvests. The units that seemed to be in my price range and for my needs were bowl trimmers. Many of these automatic bowl trimmers looked like they did nothing but shred your medicine. I wanted something of a bit higher quality and that would do my beauitful ladies the way they deserved. I came upon the Trimpro Unplugged. www.trimpro.com

The unit was a little more than I was looking to spend but I had a hard time reading anything but praise for the units. So I decided to take the plunge and get a unit myself. My hands this summer have been really aching me and let’s face it, nothing is going to beat hand trimming… But I had enough of the cramps in the hands… So here is a little video review/demo of the trimpro unplugged.

Hi Yodabuds,

I'm RollaP (Patrick) and a longtime member here at Rollitup.org. I've been blessed with a new career. I am now one of the GreenBroz, Inc Brothers. I wanted to introduce the worlds first bud groomer. The most delicate machine to ever trim bud. Our newest version has a UV germicidal lamp (making it compliant with the coming regulations in Colorado), it can hold over a pound and process 16 pounds a day (30 minutes a Pound). This machine only weighs 35lbs and only uses 25 watts. This machine is available to every state and comes in two models. The standard (minus UV lamp) and the medical (with UV Lamp). Visit our site http://www.greenbroz.com/ to see how this or our other products can help you meet your goals without damaging purity or potency.

THANK YOU...

Omg I was actually considering getting a trimmer...

This just changed my mind... for that much time for that quality of trimming, and with that much beating bashing smashing and battering of the trich's.... I'll just host a trim party, and start building a massive scissor hash ball rofl.

Well nothing is going to beat a hand trim job, no doubt. Actually wasn't bad as I only grow for myself and smoke myself hence if I loose trichs it's all good as they end up in the trim pile which I use to make extracts such as canna coconut oil or BHO (my favorites) the trimmer works better on some buds vs others.... Also the blade can be scrapped as well for hash.... The product for my use is perfect.... Though am in no way saying it's the best way to trim.... Still like I've said nothing beats a good pair of friskars and some good trimmers.... So, Flagg at least I saved ya the money before you spent it! whole reason for my video review was to give an honest showing and thoughts on a product to help others out, be it they like what they see or they don't :) I have zero affiliations with trimpro so no sweat off my back ;)
I am personally myself and for my sititution happy with the unit ;)
@RollaP Very cool looking machine! Going to check it out when I get a chance :)
Peace you all!

I use a spin pro trimmer. 225.00 and well worth every penny. it cut my harvest time in half. I went from a 24hr harvest/trim to a -12hr harvest/trim....not including the clean up on the trimmer, which yields me about 8grams of qwiso oil.

I got a half price deal on a lightly used Unplugged from my hydro store guy and will be using it for the first time in a couple days. Certainly not as nice as hand trimmed and the guy in the video needs a lesson in how not to manhandle his buds but with my arthritis I can't use my Fiskars for more than about an hour without cramping up real bad. I might make a thinner shim to get the blade closer to the grate.

Oh, totally changed my views on this shit. Friends always say they love to trim, until trim day comes around. I got a 'Clean Cut' 16" and fucking love it. Once you get the right height on the blades... yea...

Picked up a 10 pack of blades, so I can just bust a bunch out and change blades every few trays, and not have to slow down, then clean em all off later with Iso-91.

Colas still get a hand trim, but aside from that, I just knock it all down, break it into buds, seperate into 2-3 sizes, and run them thru the trimmer... (I call it the grinder, but it doesn't mash n smash... well built with simply but solid feeling parts.)

I still spent too much time pre-trimming and it took me about 8 hours to get it all ready for the TrimPro. Next plant gets less than half that time I hope. Just going to clip off anything that doesn't have sugar on it and feed it to the machine. Getting harder to teach this old dog new tricks. :D

Ended up with 230g of nice looking buds, 60g of sugar trim by hand and 50g of mostly chopped up bud from the trimmer. All wet weights that I have slow drying in these bowls with sheets of paper over them. Keeping them in the mud room where it's about 8C/45F. I'm dumping them out onto a sheet of parchment paper to spread out and air dry for about 5min twice a day and hope to go about 3 weeks on the buds doing that with less time to dry the trim.

Machine trimmed in the purple bowl and the hand trimmed under it with the buds up front.

Overall I'm liking this machine. Sure it bangs up the buds and seemed to chop a lot of bits off the buds better left on but sure upgrades the trim to be as good as the buds themselves. I need to fabricate some sort of see-thru cover for it. Little bits of trim and even marble sized buds get flipped out all over the place when it works and that's not good. Also looking for a shallow dish with a tight fitting lid that will hold the 14" wide grate so it can soak in ISO or methyl hydrate for easier cleaning. Then the solvent can be distilled to recover it and the honey oil that sticks to it. Easy enough to remove the gearbox so it can be submerged in solvent.

I use the Shearline 2.0...but I also grow outdoors...about 25 per year...way too much for 3-4 people to handle in a timely, cost effective manner...it works great...hth

It's pretty weird that a hobbyist would need a machine to trim small wimpy plants. I could trim that little thing in the video in about 20-30 minutes and it would still be primo. I can trim 2 lbs a week in a leisurely 32 hours. My patients would revolt if I tried to sell them thrashed up weed. The more people that use these things the more primo my weed will look compared to everybody elses. One of my buddys told me he just got a trimmer machine and I just smiled. His patients will be calling me pretty soon. I guess they are good for the guy that is too crippled to trim his own and he will be the one consuming it.
