trichs vs hair question

I ve got sum ladies and two are ready to come dwn. Well one is for sure I've been scopeing trichs for the past week on one and all are milky a few amber heads the hairs are red and receeded ( I just chopped that one ), both of these are unknown strains too. The other is about same place trichrome wise but there are white hairs still in some spots and the ones that are red are not as receeded as the one I just took. Idk if this is strain dependent and there are some out there that still have some white hairs at harvest. Any thoughts would b great thanks.

Ya thanks so don't worry about the hairs if I've got good trich color then its ready

If you think its done.. wait another 7-10 days.. you wont regret it. You will however regret chopping a lady before her time.

Ya I guess that's prolly the best way to look at it, good thongs come to those who with eh. I've just never had one that's so far along trichrome wise and still have so many white hairs. There not standing straight up there starting to curl but still white not red or orange. I feel like it has to be strain dependent.

the whiteness could just be a pheno. always go by your trichs.

Ya that's the answer I was trying to get. I know to go by trichs but its just new to me to have all milky trichs and some ambers here and there but have 40 percent white hairs left.

I had a super skunk that would stay white haired forever. Most of them turned during drying. I think most of your hairs will turn red during drying too

Some sativa strains have mostly white hair at harvest.

i always go as long as it takes until i have babies ready to go in flowering room on the same day as tear down. I get too many red hairs cuz i am always lazy in getting my nursery started.

Look at the calyx under the bud at the first node for ripeness.

i like the chart..but trichs are the deciding factor for me not pistil color.

interesting. i'll make a note to look this round..i love any tips/tricks (or anyone) that helps me to "up" my grow.
