Trichomes

Pretty hard to tell someone when its time as a lot of "doneness" is personal preferance . Different stages of "doneness" have different effects such as milky trichomes are when your plants medicinal values have reached their full potential. From there you start getting amber which is a more "couch lock" effect and body type high. Amber trichomes are also an indicater that the medicinal value of your plant has passed its prime and the medicinal properties have degraded . Your pic..... That how I like them. Maybe a couple more days. For me , thats my preferance only.

physical damage causes trichomes to degrade to amber also.

op needs to find balance between strain breeder info, length of flower cycle to date, condition of the plant, water up uptake, environment. cut a bud, dry it, smoke it, you decide.

Does anyone know if these look done or not??:) or have a guess when it would be ready to pull
Judging from your pic ....I wouldn't chop .....also a pic of the actual bud would help us help you as well ....the first response you got above is some great advice ....be patient ...when people say amber will appear ....you won't have to sit there and hunt for it on your buds ...or try to look at the perfect angle to see the amber ......very milk white with amber coming in ,,,is harvest window opening .....after that it's what you prefer .....you could chop earlier but IMO it's a waste ....to each there own ...GL

Another week...maybe 2. I liked growing out the Blue Dream. Big colorful buds and lots of them. The pheno I had was a 10, 11 week strain. It's all subjective on what you like. Personally, I like mostly cloudy and very very few amber., Then I start the flush for a week.
