I'm going to be buying a house and will be moving sometime this winter. I have a lot of asparagus in the garden i would like to take with me. Since i dont have a garden prepped yet at the new house it's possible i may have to store the crowns over winter. Any and all advice or tips are what im looking for. Thanks folks.

They produce great but I've had them there for a couple years now. I also have a dwarf cherry tree i would like to dig up if anyone has tips on that. Can i pot it now and keep it in the garage til we move? Should i plant it when we get the house or wait til spring?

That shits pretty hardy once it finally gets going. Id say dig it up and stuff it in a pot. Plant it asap. Should be fine. I just planted mine this year from seed so its slow going still. Id gladly trade you some ffof to fill in the hole if youd let me come dig some up and put it in my garden. :D

when we store it over winter we put it in a slightly wet sand(like powder size grains).i guess you could try storing them in that for the transport
