transplant to bigger net pots

I start in 2" net pots then transfer to 6" with hydroton. My net pots took forever to come now I have 20" long mass of roots. Can I still use 6" pot or stick with the 2" Will I have stability issues doing this? I fear it may be too late. I may just flower them early so they dont get top heavy. This really sucks! Here is a pic. I dont know what the dark shit on the roots is about but its only at the water line. it happens to all my plants but they always grow well. I chalked it up to the micro in the nutes and using Liquid Karma. These are nirvanas free seeds with the exception the bigger one in the rear is a fem SS

The size of the net pot doesn't affect plant size. Bigger ones might help keep your plant upright, though. I wouldn't try to move them to another netpot, youll probably damage the roots.

thats what i meant by stable, the plant staying up right. I have to make a new DWC setup for that side of the tent then. my lid is cut for 6" pots and is 4'x4', the same size as the tent. Thanks!

can I cut a hole in the net pot, dangle the roots through and backfill with hydroton very gingerly? The root mass would stop most of the hydroton from falling through. What do you think?

I wouldn't do it unless I had no other choice.

You can always pop some holes in your bucket and then stack on top of a new bucket and have your bubbler linked to bottom through hole on top so your roots will gain an extra 1-1.5 gallon of new space to grow in assuming your doing pure dwc bubble3r set up for each plant.bongsmilie
