heres the one i have right now, even cheaper and easier to make. only problem i had was finding the big pencil cup, but got it at staples. so take your pick......https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html

also, are your plants enlosed in a box or an area where all air can be forced by fan through the filter. this wont work in just a normal room (this might be obvious to you, but it never hurts to make sure). have you tried like glade plug-ins or something similar all around your grow area and house. obviously this is not the best solution, but it helps.

figure out somewhere someway somehow you can put a hole for exhauxt to go...jact's diy scrubber is about the best solution you're gonna find, plus, you need airflow anyway, for a # of reasons...
seal your room up the best you can, and make a scrubber, remember, your grow isn't worth anything if the odor gets you busted

i also am growing is a basement room with no window, or really any connection to anything. i built a box in the room so i could control the smell/ and to better harness my lights. here is a pic of the inside. it is 3.5x3.5x6'. if you use osb plywood and 2x4s you can make one pretty cheap. you will need a fan (inline or duct booster) to push air through the filter and out of your box. you can also just paint it white for good reflectivity.

I know that this is probably not what you want to hear, but for a proper, all ends covered set-up it takes a little money and alot of time and work. good luck man

if you do choose to do this, i would be happy to help you with plans and stuff.
