Hello folks! Total newbie here and okay with admitting it. Gotta start somewhere right? Unfortunately I was raised to believe all "drugs" are bad mmmm'kay. As I've gotten older and done my own research I now understand that some can be used to treat many things.

Last year I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, mostly due to tons of bad shit happening to me and my family plus an incredible amount of stress as I was working on a doctorate degree. Long story short, I went through 3 or 4 different meds and nothing seemed to really work. All the side effects became worse than what the meds were supposed to be treating! After about 6 months on the meds I took myself off and started using weed to calm my anxiety at night so I could sleep. That combined with placing myself in healthier situations has made a huge impact in my life. I've only been smoking for a little over a month but I can already tell that it has been a great addition to my life.

My biggest issue is that I do not live in an area where it is legal and unfortunately my connections aren't reliable and often shady (don't show up, short the weight, overcharge, etc...). Because of this I have decided to start my own micro grow in a PC case. I have already read what feels like a million posts here about micro grows and I have slowly and carefully started acquiring some of the materials needed. I feel like I have learned a lot but I understand I have just scratched the surface. Looking forward to talking with some of you and reading more posts to broaden my knowledge base before I actually start this venture.

Thanks for reading! If you have any suggestions on things you wish you would have known before you started that would be cool to read your suggestions!

Thanks folks!

Welcome & Enjoy! Single Episode Depressive Disorder isn't caused by stress. I'm sure you know that, if you're working on your doctorate. It sucks the life out of you, hit's you like a brick wall out of no where, and the meds have horrible side effects. Hang in there!
