People usually say wait til the fourth or fifth node at the earliest, but I topped some on the third this year and trained the two tops away from each other and it basically looks like two plants. I foresee having to artificially support the branches though, towards the end of the season.

i used uncle ben's technique on one of mine guerrilla's gusto, just to experiment. it seems to be doing well :P

They sat that most indicas don't need to be topped as they are pretty bushy anyway, I topped this Early Skunk 2 1/2 days ago and it seems to be responding well, damn thing is my last baby in veg and I'm having a hard time deciding when to put her out, I guess I've grown affectionate towards her, but I chopped her to keep the height down, I'm alternating between natural sunlight and a 400w MH, I'll put her out this week, kind of reluctant though....

Topped at the 8th node twoweeks ago and its growing like crazy. G13 germinated on 30 Mar. This is my first season, everything looks good.
