Wrong. Triangle Kush is triangle Kush. The white was also known as just "Triangle" supposedly before it was renamed. The theory that I have heard is that the white is an S1 of the TK. One of my friends that has the TK had a weird phenotypical expression come out in his last run of it. It came out almost identical to the white. I had a few pieces of white with me that I grew and they looked and smelled exactly the same. The TK usually has a deeper OG funk to it, but this was real light and smoked like the white.

"There is a lot of hype around this strain and its time to put this all to rest for good. Here is the story without using any real names.
Some dipshit from the south came to the midwest with a bunch of local cuts from down south. The White and Triangle Kush were a couple of them. They were hyped up and passed out to a few people. A couple of these people really thought they had something special and started hoarding the cuts and using them for a "look at me im super cool on the internet" kind of deal. It wasnt long and The White was making the rounds as it should have been. Nothing really special about this plant at all. Looks like pretty much all the hindu kush plants and cuts that floated around Florida back in the day.
The Triangle on the other hand was being held tightly by a couple people on the internet forums so they could have something nobody else did, cause if you arent cool on the internet then what is life really about? One day one of these internet dipshits says "hey, im going to start a seed breeding business and use The Triangle to make shit tons of cash". Which was a pretty good idea. It had rarity, not a lot of people had smoked it and even fewer had grown it. That was good because there really isnt anything special about it other than the fact its hoarded the way it is. Thats what makes things worth money in the seed business. Hell you can sell nothing but hermi seeds in todays seed business and still pump em out at $400 for 10 seed if some 20 year old kid on the internet thinks they are rare.
So the internet dipshit starts his breeding efforts right away, but wait! "im not supposed to make money off this cut by using it for seed breeding, thats gonna piss off the dipshits from the south". Now the internet dipshit needs to find away to say that The Triangle is out there being passed around already so making seeds is ok. He found the perfect solution! Turns out a couple other dipshits had gotten access to a bunch of different cuts. Not really a "take whatever cuts you want" deal but the plants were there and cuts were taken because these dipshits didnt understand hoarding. Apparently neither one of the new dipshits really new anything about most of the strains and just grew them all out together. During all this the strain hoarding dipshits found out that the new dipshits might have The Triangle. "HOLY SHIT" they yelled to each other, what if they make seeds too and then take half our seed money! What they didnt know is that nobody from the new dipshits even kept a cut of it except 1. So the strain hoarding dipshits are super pissed, how can they look super cool on the internet now, how can they pump out seeds of it now? Then the strain hoarding douche from the moon realizes "hey, we will just say the triangle is out there now and its time to make some cash..i mean seeds". Then the fault is off of him and everyone can go on thinking the new dipshits passed the cut to the masses when in reality it was never passed, to anyone, because it wasnt worth passing to begin with.
And thats the story of this stupid ass strain and the countless hours a group of individuals have spent arguing over it. Its an ok plant. Cant hold itself up, smoke is pretty potent, taste is pretty good too but NOTHING ABOUT IT SAYS HOARD IT other than the douche bags that are doing so and the best thing is only about 20 people on the entire goddamn planet even give a shit AT ALL about any of this. Its pretty damn stupid."

That's funny, and you have a point.
But all the same, I DID hear that triangle kush sucks dicks. That's what a few different people working at both clone only dispensaries and medication only dispensaries said, and this is in Los Angeles, where there are literally thousands of OG cuts, all with different names, making their rounds.
On the other hand, one person at the clone only dispensary said that the White is pretty good.
For comparison, here's the OG cuts at ONE dispensary here in LA:
5 star, Be Real, Watermelon, Mango, True, Scandalosa, Buddha, Hollywood
Down the street, they have an entire other list of OG cuts.
Point being, I heard Triangle Kush sucks dicks.
By the way, the reason I asked if he was talking about Trinity Kush, earlier, is because a company called "Emerald Triangle Seed Co" sells a Trinity Kush seed. Triangle, trinity, blah blah

Right exactly, you heard, you heard. No real experience. What a joke. I'd put money on the triangle Kush at the dispensary not even being real, as the cut is held tightly and definitely not given to dispensaries that sell clones.
I've smoked at least an ounce of triangle kush, and I grow the white. You apparently believe everything everyone tells you, or you read on a message board.

I'm afraid not, little girl. I listen to dispensaries that specialize in clone-only, verified genetics, when it sounds like they know what they're talking about. In this case, they said that Triangle Kush "sucks dicks." That's a direct quote. They did say that the White was pretty good, like I said.
My point in mentioning the other OG cuts floating around LA is that there are too many to keep track of, and Triangle Kush has a reputation on the internet as being hoarded by "dipshits" for no good reason, and that it's really just a mediocre cut.
Believe me, here in LA, I can get any OG cut that I want, clone only. Just because some bust-ass carpetbaggers from the South say that they have some bomb cut doesn't mean shit around here. There are a lot of cuts that are A+ level. For instance, one dispensary that I go to, here, has their meds featured in the Centerfold of High Times, and gets stuff like Sonoma Coma, Yoda OG, etc that win Cannabis Cups delivered straight from the breeders, themselves. Do you really think that this triangle kush, which has about a 0 reputation around here, really perks my ears? Not really. You're obviously not from around here.

LA is the biggest joke of the cannabis industry. Everything there is hype. There AREN'T thousands of OG cuts, I bet there's under a dozen. Just cause it's called something different at every dispensary, doesn't make it a different cut. Go on all you want about what you can get and who you talk to. Anyone who knows anything can tell you're an ass clown. wow, a dispensary you go to has weed in high times...
I was standing next to one of my friends when he won the sativa cup in Amsterdam in November. He also won the indica cup with an OG cross at your precious LA cup. Oh and his herb was on the cover of the may issue as the strongest tested in any cup last year. My other friend bred the #3 highest testing strain. So i'll trust my friends and what they say since they have been breeding for 10+ years and are now winning cannabis cups. They are infinitely more credible than some guys running a dispensary in LA.

Hey so I was looking for someone who has experience growing these strains, not someone who talked to someone who tried growing clones from someone and not even sure what they got. If it really is triangle kush, it's fucking fire. Otherwise if you talked to a commercial grower and they didn't like it, it's because they are a commercial grower and they grew a kush strain that barely produced anything. Thanks for the hearsay update based on something you didn't grow though thanks.

my guy is entering 2 of his exclusive strains into the San Francisco Cannabis Cup, when it rolls around in late June. I talked to him today, actually, and he said that his strains, The Dub, Grease OG, and I think he said either Cryptic or Cryptic x Mary OG will be entered. I will talk to him again tomorrow to find out for sure. If your buddy is entering into the same competition, then we can bet on who wins.
And it is just some guy who runs a dispensary in LA. Jason at CCSC on Melrose in West Hollywood. His Sonoma Coma is delivered from the only guy known to be growing it. I'll be picking up a bag on the 15th of this month, or so, when it comes in.

Ahab...your'e not even sure whether a plant needs to be pollinated, to make seeds...but yet you are so knowledgeable? Why because you hang out at a dispensary all day with your medical mj card? Get a job!! Medical mj in Ca. is the biggest crock of crap ever and there are too many people, like you, ruining it for the rest of the country....claiming some felonious medical condition just so they can smoke herb all day....and sucking up taxpayers dollars in the process!! I also see that you are not making many friends in these threads.

How about you do a search for doc's OG and you'll see who my friend is. Or you could just look in 3 of the last 6 high times issues because he has been mentioned by name and had an entire section of an article dedicated to him. Or just look on the cover of the may issue. I'm not gonna do your research for you. all I have to say is the indica winning strain in the LA cup, doc's OG wasn't grown by the dispensary tools in la. It was from Colorado. Beat them at their own game..

Vendors walk into dispensaries, see the shit they are trying to sell already on the shelves, then invent a new name for their shit. *boom* new strain of OG going around. For some reason people in LA are under the impression that something has to be called "OG" in order to be good bud.
It's not as bad as the bay area was with purples for a while, but it's still pretty bad.
