Purplegrower this is just a shit and giggles for me too. Like youngdee said the weather last year was warm and dry so I'm also hoping for that again haha. October is pretty late man! That's when weather starts to get down to the high 30s so I'd be interested to see which strain does best. Keep us posted!

Great thread fellas, I was googling this myself last night before I decided to come check my acct.

Im in California, and I put my seeds out in February in hopes of getting monsters. I had 6 female plants flower as soon as they could. I got about 2 1/2 ounces of some great smoke. I got my monsters, and I cut tons of clones. Im at about 3 weeks into flowering on the moms, and my clones are big. I am vegging indoors untill my big ones are done ( fingers crossed for first week of October) then I will be putting out the clones I clipped. I currently have them all in 3 gal pots. My strains are grand daddy purple, blue cheese, orange kush, white widow and a few others. This is the first time I will be putting anything out after october so I hope everything does well and get a decent yield. I am vegging out doors from 7:00 A.M. to 7 P.M. then taking them inside and put them under a T5 until 12:00 A.M. i will continue to veg until October, so my plants should be close to 3 ft. By the time I let them flower. Last winter was very dry and not as cold so im kind of hoping for that again lol.
welcome to the thread, i live up in Maine so my fall conditions do get worse so i will have to bring mine in at some point to finish flowering.

im not really concerned with yeild and size, im just doing it because...well what the hell..right. if i get 1 fem that yeilds me a 1/2 zip ill be content.

But even so they will start to flower as soon as they genetically can. I just don't see a point to this if another other than shits and giggle, collect pollen, or to create seeds.
like the first post in the thread says they will basically be a 12/12 from seed. and yes its just shits and giggle, a little fun ya know. people do party cup comps all the time and that is also just for shits and giggles and will ultimatly always end up in a smaller yeild.

well at least its your gf, when i started growing my moms was like "will you grow me one" i said fuck no bitch grow your own shit! lol cuz im gonna spend 3-4 months, my time and money growing a fkin plant to give it away...outta her dam mind.
Dude your mom gave you life, what's a renewable resource out of your pocket. Plants are a dime a dozen now a days. Anyway though I think you have a chance of yielding something but don't get your hopes to high on weight.

if you knew my relationship between my mother you would understand more, She was just being a mooch because she didnt want to put in the effort or money to plant her own. Sorry but if you cant put in any effort you get no reward, my mother taught me that.

any i dont have any hopes of anything over 500000 pounds. anything less than that i might /wrists.

I hear ya, I wouldn't have brought it up if I knew it was like that. Good luck with your harvest, I'm sure it will be worth your time.

a little sprout had emerged this morning. well, there was a sprout, it didnt really emerge since i think i washed it to the surface when i watered and it was kinda just laying on top, buried it again and should see some activity in all the pots by tomorow, with it being as warm out as it has i cant imagine it would take too much longer for them to germinate.

still trying to fig out a food location in the back yard for them since there is no full sun spots i will have to suffice with a spot that gets sun from about 10:00 am onward.

Wow that's quick man, I'm expecting to see some sprouts on Thursday or friday, but hopefully sooner being as warm as it is. I'll be able to get like 6-8 hours of direct sunlight for them throughout flower so that won't be an issue for me lol

I started a grow indoors about 3 weeks ago. Just moved them outside, not by choice, on Sunday. I live in the northeast and did this just for experience and will be content with anything I get out of it.

Pictures are from last night right before I transferred to 3 gallon smart pots.

Haha man you guys are wishing for a dryer winter while I'm hoping for some god damn rain this winter! My flowering plant right now is really starting to bulk and frost up :weed: I'm thinking she's got about 3 weeks left. Going to be my biggest harvest yet :)

my first grow i mistake the male pollen sacs as bud lol, when they started opening into small little flowers i scratched my head, said fuck and chopped it down.

if you inspect well you will see the white pistols, cant miss em and its a sure thing then,
