too late to start?

think its too late to start a couple beans outside. would be using 3 gal fabric pot and i know it would be lilke a 12/12 from seed style grow.

If your weather's decent, why not? I have flowered plants that started in a cab, outdoors during late Jan and Feb. I mean it gets like into the mid 40's worse case here. So you get some nice "purpling" of the sugar leaves I may also give it a shot if this current grow doesn't do my ass in first I have some decent med quality Cherry Pie seeds I may not be able to wait for next Summer to pop Now that I say that, a fukin El Nino will hit and we'll have torrential rains this Winter...LOL WTF! That's what makes outdoor growing so much fun.

I'm in socal so I've got the weather on my side! I think the best problem I have is the fact that nobody can sell me weed with some seeds in it haha! I'll plant as soon as I can find some seeds lol

yeah i cant grow weed with seeds in it, i ran out of beans and for the life of me couldnt seem to scrounge up a friggin seed lol. ended up asking someone i knew who gets comercial stuff to give me some seeds.

TBH every seed i have grown from shit weed has turned out pretty good. maybe not as nice as the seeds i got from the seed bank but definatly turns out to be some nice mid grade with a good taste and smooth smoke

I think that's the case because when you buy good weed and find a seed, the genetics are probably decent. I just found some I got from a hermie last year which is actually what I've got growing atm so I'm gonna plant it and hope for a more indica dominant pheno

Yeah i have a hermie seed from my last grow in my indoor setup right now. personally i prefer a seed from one of my plants that hermie slightly over a random bag seed. you know it will be female and you somewhat know what quality...also that seed is going to grow better in your setup because its genetically conditioned to it. Yes it may hermie but TBH i dont think i have ever grown a plant, reputable genetics or not that didnt pop out at least one ballbag. if im lucky i get a seed or but generally i dont find any, im sure they are in there but i share alot too so they probabally go out the door.

Ok done, tossed 3 beans in a 3 gal fabric pot.

had some used soil outside by the veggie garden so just amended that with some home made EWC, planted seeds watered em in and set it outside. ill throw up a pic in a few days when they pop up.

Are you going to keep them in the 3 gallon? I don't know whether to start in the final home or do a transplant. I'm using some left over miracle grow with lots of perlite.

I have never bought from a bank so I have no experience with genetics like that but any clones or seed I've grown have popped a couple nanners also, I feel that since the plant has that characteristic then it's almost inevitable no matter your genetics.

yeah ill be staying in the 3 gal, they should start flowering in 3 weeks so i dont think ill need anything bigger than that.

Your not worried of them fighting over space? I'm going to plop em in 1 gallons each.

only going to let one grow, just threw 3 in there so i know i will get at least 1 sprouted, best one will more than likely stay others will get pinched

Ahh okay. I am gonna let a couple grow and see if I can maybe get some different phenos in there. My girlfriend wants me to grow her a "cute" plant so I'll give her the smallest of the bunch lol

well at least its your gf, when i started growing my moms was like "will you grow me one" i said fuck no bitch grow your own shit! lol cuz im gonna spend 3-4 months, my time and money growing a fkin plant to give it away...outta her dam mind.

Hahah my mom is doing her first grow alongside mine this year and is always asking me to fix her shit.. I will give her instruction but refuse to do it for her, she just wants the reward without the effort. My lady is just starting to become a stoner, before she was like I don't like you smoking as much as you do and now I quit for like 4 months for work and she is all asking me to get her weed haha, I love it!
