I'm disappointed when I read the articles in the press today, here's one:

It seems the only politicians who want to change the law want to do so in a limiting way. Steve Bieda wants to model our system after Colorado's. I am not up to date on all the CO laws but this article does highlight many problems: http://money.cnn.com/2011/03/29/smallbusiness/marijuana_millionaires/

I can't help but worry about all the ways they might crush my new home business. From a non-business point of view I particularly dislike the minimum distance required from churches, in what way is that constitutional?

I believe that Colorado is the State that has video cameras thata are monitored and owned by the police, as well as every grow for patients. They can view your business and house whenever they want. It's seriously fucked up, and an invasion of privacy.

If I'm wrong on the State please correct. I know one west cost state is doing this, and I'm pretty sure it's there.

$20,000 is about what the permit costs to grow commercial in CO. they do have cameras in CO but the cams are for the commercial businesses. patients can grow their own. 3 in veg 3 in bloom is the limit though.

From what I understand Colorado now dictates how many plants you can have and how many you are allowed in different stages of growth per patient.
