Some of the seeds has a microscopic taproot coming out. How much longer till i get a tiny sprout now? It's only been 4 days so far.

Get a new spray bottle and fill it with distilled water.....mist the top of the soil 3-4 times a day until you see sprouts....then U can reduce waterings....after that, put these seedlings in a south facing window sill or under a low amount of indoor lighting until the sprout becomes a few inches high...then move to more light and you can start feeding at 1/4 strength. After a few weeks, increase food and water....prepare to re-pot or plant in the ground at this point

  • yeah hps is a lot for just regular herbs. Cfl's will cut down the power and heat a lot. Just make sure there daylight bulbs. Sunblaster brand are designed for growing and they also sell cfl's that have more of the red spectrum for flowering for when that time comes. But thats if your picky. There not completely necessary

Finally managed to transplant. Only get my best 8 from my 50+ seedlings. Hopefully they start to take off now.

They are getting big now, going to transplant in a few days into either a 1 or 2 gallon. Should give me some good size plants.

BBbublegum,

Hi, I grew tobacco 4-5 years ago and have two big bundles of whole plants hanging on my den wall,
Havana Burley #1 & #9. I got the seeds and information about growing, rolling and curing from old 'Tobacco Dan' on Tobacco Talk Forum.com. He lives in Pennsylvania, next to a Tobacco Amish farmer and can send seeds or 5 - 10 - 50 Lbs of leaf, U.P.S. delivered to your door. Now old Dan doesn't smoke weed, so be cool but you can learn anything you want to know there on Tobacco Talk.

Thank you...

Due to the winter they did not get transplanted or moved into the greenhouse over the holidays. I plan on getting them moved in this weekend. I'm, hoping they live untill then. Watering is such a pain in the ass in these tiny cups.
