I would love to see what a poll of this question would reveal.

I have been on numerous threads talking about being busted and about it being passed.

Personally I dont think it should be passed, YET!!!

I just posted this about 3 minutes ago on another thread;

I am pretty certain that we are going to loose control of it if passed in the near future. We need a year or two to go by to let the courts settle down, cities to finish establishing rules (and unfortunately close clubs), create laws for all to obey (not govern says one and state says another and the city says something else), some type of system to monitor weed to avoid distribution illegally, and most of all keep it in the hands of the patients that use and need the medicine. Not the government that needs to recoup from a tremendous downfall in its economy. We will end up helping enormously with pulling the US out of the deficit if we pass it now. I dont mind helping some, charge me tax on my product when I purchase from a club 8.75%. Some clubs state that they are currently, one more time, currently paying upwards of 25-30% in taxes, who really pays for that - us. And if we loose the rest of the control over the situation expect it to increase like cigs and be outrageous as alcohol.

This was a specific response to the post I quoted, the person said they were afraid of people selling heroin and crack and that the weed was "not clean and full of who knows what"...

"Measures also need to be explored and put into place to monitor the concerns you have about additional drugs and the contaminants of the weed. I heard that some 3-5% of weed in clubs has mold - not a lot but still scary. I havent been offered crank yet at the clubs, not sure where you are and if this is a current problem you are facing."

I went into a club about a week ago and next to the sign in sheet they had another clip board that they were taking signatures on as a petition to try and stay open. Appreantly they received a letter from the county or city or something that said there were complaints about them being a public nuisance and were going to be kicked out. I can understand this is true for some of the clubs that are on busy streets with limited parking, but this club is behind a hydro store, next to a auto repair shop, with plenty of parking and no neighborhood in sight. WTF really.

Lets see what the numbers are really like...

Should it be passed now 2010?

Should it never be passed?

Should it be passed in the near future 2012-2014?

Hey buddy, how ya been? Keenly2 and I have spoken about this before

What is so horrible about abiding by; strictly prop 215 with obamas letter to the DEA and the supreme courts ruling that voided sb 420?

Why do you need it legal for all? Go spend 200 bucks and be legal NOW...

It will not be at 7-11 per your last post. Even it passed now it will be years before you can go to your 7-11 at the corner of your street and pick up a "pack of marry janes" as you said.

I can understand that. I enjoy my bud too. I was unaware I qualified for my prescription until I tried to get it. It was a walk in the park. But I need you to understand that CA is just not ready.

What do you think will happen to the clubs?

And their patients?

Who will provide for them, not all can grow.

safer alternative for enjoyable recreation!! i support it.:o
shouldnt it be "for" enjoyable rec

otherwise the acronym doesnt fit

now thats a very selfish attitude to have, as there are hundreds of thousands of people who are not 215ed up

it should be legal for EVERYONE, not just you people with your cards

and thats why you seem extremely selfish when it comes to this issue, its the basic "im already legal so why should everyone else be" thinking

the clubs, open there doors to every one, the patients, still show up (i know i would go back to OB every time still) as for WHO WOULD GROW?!?!!?! ME....and about 2000 other people on this site in cali. dont worry i think were readdy. if ur not ready its OK, we'll show u the way. like morpheeus said in the matrix "OPEN YOUR MIND"

I kind of think of it as a responsibility type thing.

Example;

If you get your child a hamster to look after and they kill it because they were not feeding it and it was in shit up to its knees, you would not get that child the puppy they really wanted. Not if you realistically and logically think they will provide for it. You would get that puppy and be in denial or in the back of your head you would know that you are going to feed it and pick up its shit. Right?

Is this logical.

Look at the clubs that have to shut down and all the arrests of patients that thought, and may have been, with in the law. The taxes that are already on the rise. I dont know that we are ready for a puppy until we can figure out how to care for the hamster. imo

I know that others feel this way. I dont need any backing or nothing but would like everyone to vote to get a true idea of what people think and want. I am very curious...

This is why I am not selfish, I am trying to tell you it only takes 200 bucks for all to have their cards and all will be legal.

Look at the analogy.

now thats a very selfish attitude to have, as there are hundreds of thousands of people who are not 215ed up

it should be legal for EVERYONE, not just you people with your cards

and thats why you seem extremely selfish when it comes to this issue, its the basic "im already legal so why should everyone else be" thinking

so how exactly does your analogy relate to the subject at hand?

you have failed to make a valid argument, your saying people just need to go get 215 cards and pay 200 bucks

A) i should not have to get a card to consume my weed

and

B) your trying to get us to PAY for it

i think ill just stick to the bill at hand, since you seem to be having trouble making a valid argument

Then get a card and grow and stop bitchen like i told you before. anyone can get one, stop being selfish and hoarding your last 200 bucks.

fail post is fail

your opinions and statements are completely contradictory

now your not even making sense

hear that everyone? IM selfish because i dont want to go spend 200 bucks to legally be able to smoke and grow

that some how makes ME the selfish one

LOL

Well sorry you still see it that way guys. Guess if it passes you will see that it is not going to be a free for all like you want it to be.

You will loose more privileges than you have now. Give you MF'ers an inch and you want a mile. I am not out for personal gain. Quote anything I have said that would lead you to believe that. I dont want to get fucked by the morons that make laws and people like you that dont think about consequences of actions. You guys must feel the need for another SB 420. Do you feel like you lost direction, dont know what to do with out SB 420??? Do you know how it came into affect and why it was removed and what your limits are now. I know I am opening a can of worms with this one but fuck. You guys need to start thinking about the what ifs and less of your instant gratification. Patients have already seen what happens when the authorities neglect to define laws and for all to uniformly follow them. WTF do you think the government is going to do if it is passed? tell me. Answer some of my questions about policies, control, taxes, Answer them, make a valid argument. Not this crying about your fucking 200 bucks, i dont want to hear it. spend it like everyone else has or be illegal until shit is in order, a year two three i dont know
