TLC plate help - Testing for Cannabinoids

Hi there everyone. Lately I've been trying to test my medical plants for their cannabinoid profiles. I have a little college chemistry experience and I thought I'd be able to figure out how to test with TLC plates, but I've been having trouble. I am able to visualize the blots but the results don't meet my expectations. AC/DC, Remedy, Cannatonic, True OG, and Plushberry all seem to have similar profiles.
I will include pictures of my plates and describe my process.
The process: I crushed dispensary-bought marijuana (remedy, ac/dc, cannatonic, true OG) as well as home grown strains (Remedy, plushberry, cheesecake). The marijuana was not heated before extraction. The extraction method was a 1-5 minute bath of ethyl acetate, which is similar to but much more polar than acetone. The ethyl acetate-cannabinoid solution was aliquotted into 2ml test tubes and evaporated safely. The resin from each sample was then resuspended in 99% rubbing alcohol. These samples were then blotted on the TLC plate (which itself was bought from a chemical company) and allowed to dry over a fan for 20 minutes.
Once dry, the tlc plate was put in a developing chamber which had been pre-filled with a mixture of orange peel oil and ethyl acetate.
Once the plates were done they were visualized under UV light (with eye protection!) and photographed. I then sprayed them with a vizualization dye (Fast Blue B), under an exhaust hood.
But the all CBD strains resolved two distinct blots which were in the same relative places as the all THC strains AND the 1:1 ratio strains. At least as far as I can tell.
If anyone has experience with using TLC for cannabinoids do you have any suggestions for trouble shooting?
I'm wondering if my bands could be cholorphyll or a degredation product perhaps caused by my extraction technique. I'm open to all ideas and plan to share my fix if I figure one out. Thanks for reading!
