hi there and welcome to my journal, this is my 2nd attempt at growing weed the first didnt pan out as anticipated so here we go flying solo except for and with the good help of this wonderful community.
EQUIPMENT
1.2 x 1.2 x 2m black orchard tent
600w hps
"6" extraction filter fan
"9" & "6" oscilating fans
verve compost ( B&Q) highly reccomended ( apparrently hot for Autos but i see it as i dont neeed to use nutes then for first month ) on Bloom ( cant wait to see the comments on this remark lol )
4 x 12L Buckets £1 each ( 10 holes drilled in the side with "1" holesaw)
4 x STRAINS
1 x Auto Critical + x white dwarf (56 - 60 day seed 2 Harvest ) will leave till 7O DAY
1 x Blue Treacle (65 - 70) DAYS
2x Gorrilla experimentals ( 70 - 80 DAYS )
light schedule is 24/0 till flowertime then 20/4
PM NUTES GROW N BLOOM ( HOPING TO ONLY FEED ONCE WITH GROW)
TEMPS ARE BETWEEN 28C AND 30C HUMIDITY IS FLOATING BETWEEN 38 -45%( DEPENDS IF IT BEEN SPRAYED)
Anyhow i got my seeds germed using the paper towel method and my old works butty box LOl
they popped after 36hrs. I then dropped them into 0.5L pots that had been saturated in straight H2o and cling filmed over then I put them in my home made Vegging Box which i made from a 4' plastic TOOLBOX
ideal for cloning or seedlings you can easily get up to 100 cutting in there or seedlings. Once the beans had broke on through to the other side ( i love the DOORS) and POPPED I kept them in the veg box till they touched the cling film then transplanted strait into there final pots 12L and fired up my light in the tent , oh before i forget i soaked the compost in the buckets with straight H2o for about 12hrs to make sure it was damp n moist for my babies.

After firing up the grow room/tent and it had settled I noticed that my temps was at 32C HUMIDITY 22 so i thought mmmm i better get this Dialled in pronto lol , so i pushed my light ( bearing in mind its a 600w hps) upto "40" to ensure that the babies didnt get roasted I then put a bucket of straight H2o in there to see if the humidity wud go up it did but not enough, so i resorted to the spraygun and was spraying in there every hr on the hr . then some1 mentioned that maybe i shud turn off my extracor filter to see if that works and bingo my temps are a steady 30C and humid to 38 -40% , i know as my babies grow they will bing humidity and i will turn it back on.
anyway day 5 i gave them all a little drink of straight H2o only 300ml each

DAY9 All looking good temps n humid settled now and i gave them another drink of str8 H2o 500ml because the buckets felt quite light. ( ive got a bucket of dry compost to use as a GAGE) and because i was goin away for 2nights

well day 13 and wow i aint seen em for a couple of nights now and boom what a difference ive took some pics as soon as i finnish this posti will be bang on em and get em posted.
so like i said i been 2 nights away i got really excited as i neared to getting home lol the cAR WAS GOING FASTER ZOOOOOOOM
I BOLTED STRAIGHT UP TO THE BABIES unzipped and boom they were looking all rosie and snug my temps was a solid 28C and humidity was at 39% ( but the pots were bone dry also the spare pot which was full of wet compost to try and help humidity so i used that as a gage to wiegh the other pots lol so anyways i gave them a nice drink of str8 H2o 400ml that will keep em sweet now till fri and ive lowered my lights down to "33" from the near "40" mark because i didnt want to roast my babies seeing as im using a 600w hps ( brand new ) so lets get these pics off my dropbox get em resized and upped on to here :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Nice work buddy. Glad you brought these pics over. It will be interesting to see the experimentals.

Love the veg box idea man, may have to get myself to b&q, steal that idea! Wish id thought of it when germinating, probabuly would gave saved a lil on electric bill. Turning fan/filter off may be a good shout while she's small. Lots to think about.

IM GONNA GET ME A COUPLE OF CFL BULBS and put em in my veggi box flick it on its end and try for a box grow , ii may even try that idea I heard of the other day about dropping seed into a 1l pot (cut the base off it nice n straight then tape it back together ) and once the lady is ready to be poot bound pull the bottom offf and place it on a fresh 7-11 l pot and it will shoot up because of the type of roots the Autos have, and you will probably get away with using more nutes because the the fresh compo will have it all ready for it maybe a couple of shots of bloom and a shot of summit else , I dunno it got to be woprth a bash m8 wat ya reckon ?

That sounds like an awesome little project if you have the time man. I've seen the Russian doll style pot-in-a-pot before, pretty clever wat to reduce stress when "potting up".

Sounds like you have some ideas bubbling away. Wondering myself whether to go to photos after this, or just fuck around experimenting with autos. Want to try all the Speed Seeds autos, and also try and grow some Dutch Passion and Dinafem monsters!

I'm a torn man.

Nice man. I'm so torn with what to buy next. Weed's not addictive. Growing weed is REALLY fucking addictive!

So many classic strains, Durban Poison being one of them, do I go nostalgic and relive my teenage years, or do I go newskool and get down with the kids. Your durbans photoperiod?

Yeah, she is looking a right moody little cow. Hope she eased up on you after a drink. Which strain is this?

Nice to see an exercise bike being used for it's rightful purpose - somewhere to throw your wet towel!
