I think 12 -12 will help with some of the dead leafs, cfls get pretty hot and have burned my plants from being too hot the flush looks like it's helping

It needs more water tonight, I'm thinking I might just go plain water again. I'm fairly sure there's still too much nutes left in the soil as the nute burn hasn't stopped, just slowed down.

You are entirely right mate. I was going for a super low dose of nutes and basically fucked it up. But that's kinda the point of all this, small grow, small fuckups, small losses.

Subbed. I like the setup and the detail you're putting into this journal. I've still got a lot of pages to read but went through the first few and I'm digging it.
I'm sure your plant will straighten out quickly and all will be fine.
I'm kind of in the same situation as you, I'm growing right under family members noses, am very paranoid about the law and have a child. I'm in the US in a very harsh punishment state so it would be a life changer if I got caught.
Anyway, I'll get back to reading and thanks again for taking the time to create and maintain such a detailed journal.

I think we've finally recovered from the first couple weeks worth of stress, mistakes and setbacks. In the last 24 hours it's like she's become a completely different plant!
The tops are probably only a day away from opening up into actual leafs. The side branches are well and truly branches, looking closely in the centre of the terminal bud they may even be growing their next node. And it looks like where I've cut off the first node's shade leafs there's not 2 but 4 new branches starting to form!? How that works I've got no idea!?
Starting to get excited, but also starting to think this may very well bush right out and my desires for a tidy uniform and perfectly LST'd plant may now turn into everything tied down into where ever it possibly can! Which is excellant! I wanted a challenge when I started such a ridiculously tiny grow and it's doing exactly that!
As I get close to the 1st month since seedling I have to say I've learnt and remembered so much already. Can't wait to see what the next few months brings.
I'm still not finished on the setup, there's a box of goodies just waiting to go in the first day I have the house to myself.
I just like photography, I read countless other PC case journals and although they all helped tremendously there was only one that had any great level of detail. Even then he was only taking a photo every week with little more than "here they are today, this is what I did this week, this is what happened"
Considering most people that start a PC case grow have never ever grown before, I set out to make "the" pc case grow journal. Showing just what to expect on a day by day basis.
I sympathise to your similar situation. This is partly the reason why I started a journal in the first place. If for some reason I was to get busted, the first thing they'd do is take my phone and my PC.
At least this way if they use it as evidence it'll show my side.
The law here can be incredibly harsh as well. And although I respect why (the law has mostly toughened down because of the amount of related violent crime that goes on around growing in Australia eg. gang violence) I simply want to show that I've done everything in my power to make the only "victim" here myself. I've only grown enough for myself, I've not involved anyone around me and gone out of my way to keep it from them completely. In saying that I wouldn't really expect any judge to sympathise, I know I'm breaking the law and there would be consequences if I was caught, but that's the only right we have left in my opinion... to weigh our choices and decide for ourselves.
But enough rambling... Time for some pics!

With grows this small for personal it's not worth the law to throw the book at you in my opinion. My grow is way more obvious and no on seems to really ask questions about the pink lights coming from the wardrobe in the cat room hahah.

Yeah temps get too high that close to the lamp, I've still got to install my good fans, these fans are running at about half capacity due to age and noise.

Wow, a month went by so quick!
I ended up topping once more as the growth lately has been really good compared to the first couple weeks. It needs another week at least before 12/12 so male or female another topping isn't going to slow down anything in the grand scheme of things.

Not a chance, it's going well for now, I don't even intend to water it for at least another day maybe 2. Also I finally got around to reading all of your journal, man you had some haters but people can be cunts and you should be proud of what you accomplished, learn from what you did wrong and above all don't stop trying/experimenting until you find what really works for you!Thanks for posting the good reads man ! The reason why I'm still waiting on my meters is the scumbag ebay seller falsely advertised the meters as "Australian stock" when they were actually coming from CHINA!
SO PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS! They should still be here any day but I'm paypal disputing the shit out of the cunt!

Just one quick question: what's the difference between these long pots and the"normal" ones if that's how I can put it. Going to buy my pot a pot and I don't really know which one to buy yet.

Realistically depth over volume is what you want. If the roots can't grow DOWN the plant won't grow UP. But this isn't your regular grow so I'm kind of experimenting.
I'm only willing to grow one plant at a time so I found a pot at the maximum height I can fit and still have grow space, by buying a longer pot I'm hoping the roots will start growing out and make for a bushier plant. I was also hoping that the extra growing medium will hold a few extra day's worth of moisture. So far both of my theory's have been right. One thing with this style of pot worth a mention is it has a "water saving" feature where you're supposed to let the drip tray fill with water and give you even more time between watering, I DON'T USE THIS FEATURE. It'll overwater your plant overnight. I water until all the medium is soaked and there's water running off the bottom, then I make sure it's drained properly and it's stopped running off and then return it to the grow box.
If I wasn't worried about plant numbers and stealth was the only reason I was using this grow box I'd use as many party cups as I could fit in there and go 12/12 from seed SoG style.
