Hey guys I have a half oz of some really thick black jamiacan oil and I wanted to make a tincture or some type of medicated drink I can take but I cannot stand alcohol. Any suggestions on what I should substitute the alcohol with and how I should go about making it. Thanks

i think the alcohol is what dissolves the resin so not sure if there is a substitute. i guess you could always add a little of the oil to a hot beverage like tea or coffee but it will probably taste terrible (not sure how tincture tastes)

from my understanding on edibiles the THC or whatever has to be heated up to a certain temprature before its psycoactive affects will take place by injesting, basically if you dont heat it up and drink it it wont do anything, not sur eif the alcohol does something to it as well to release the psycoactive properties.

sorry if i wasnt much help not really sure to be 100% honest

put it in coconut oil. It can be mixed into many drinks, and tastes delicious! :bigjoint:

When you heat up the coconut oil you will decarb most of the thc. and its liquid at room temp.

Do you know what your oil is? If it has already been processed, you are good to go. Not sure what you mean by 'oil'

If you want another drink, you can take your trim, or bud and grind it up, and simmer it in milk, not fat free, you need to fat to activate your THC. Simmer for about an hour. Do not let it boil. Stir it often to release all the goodness into the milk. When you think it has released enough, strain and enjoy however you want. It is especially good with homemade hot chocolate! mmm
