I place a bain marie container of BHO Absolute into a hot 250F Canola oil bath to decarboxylate, and add the coconut oil at the end after decarboxylation is complete.

Milky color is typically from water and water solubles.

So my main question is am I doing it right? I havent gotten much answers yet.

So you add the coconut oil to make it into a cape juice right? And the water could be from the alcohol

Dude, what is your end game - edibles or vape juice?

For vape juice, you do not want to fuck with cocout oil. You need to fully purge the BHO and then mix wiht PG/PEG.

Coconut oil and most of thread has been about getting it into something you would eat...

I want tincture. I want to be abke to take a shot and get high as fuck. Its all for personal use. Dont want edible or vape juice. I want tincture, drink some get messed up. Its just not working right for me

I'm learning from just reading what you guys are talking about.

This helped me out a lot.. I was just being impatient, it does have to sit for about a week before its ready. I was thinking it only took a few hours. and there's was no need to heat the alcohol once I decarb'd my bho.

I'm going to do another round of tincture with keif tonight. I'm going to follow the steps in that video.. Hopefully in about a week I'll be posting pics of my successful tincture run lol how that video helps you out like it did me: @ simply_slide

Yes the white is from water. I wouldnt have reboiled it down. I would have added decarb bho and amount of ethanol desired (warmed to mix) and called it a day. Pretty much you just added a step.

Yeah I kind of figured that out. I added a step and was being to impatient because I did not know how long it takse to make. I'll be decarbing about 10-15 grams of kief tonight getting ready for a good batch. Like I said hopefully in about a week I'll be posting pics of a successful run thank you guys for the help

So its been about 16 hours since I decarb'd 18 grams of kief and mixed with 1 cup of absolute 100 proof. But I have to say its a success. I woke up a few hours ago and checked on it and the alcohol is already turning amber in color. I'm going to add another half cup - cup tomorrow (the only reason I didn't start off with 2 cups of absolute was I ran out). I'll be letting it sit until Sunday before I strain it and test it out. I will upload a pic of it after work tonight and another Sunday after I strain it.

Alright strained it Saturday night. Color looks great and it has the effect of muscle relaxers. What's in the eye dropper is one dose.
