Time to start a new strain...

Well, my last few plants have been Plushberry clones, and my current plant in Veg is a Harley Tsu clone I got from the dispensary a month or so back. I took a cutting from the Plushberry that's in flower now, but it didn't make it - damn spider mites...

Anyway, I'm not going to try monstercropping the one in flower now, as much as I'd like to save the genetics, just too much time involved in that. Instead I'm going to try popping a few of the seeds I got from a guy here. They are Black Gorilla F2, so there should be a lot of phenos. I've got about 250 of these seeds.

Thinking about picking up some rockwool cubes and doing a SOG style grow in the 18 gallon tote I have.

What size space and how many plants you thinking of running?

My veg cabinet is pretty small, 24" by 39" and about 5 feet high. I'm working on setting up a second one (22" by 41" by 44"), I just need to get some doors made for it. My flower space is 24" by 96" with about 7 feet of height if I remove more shelves. I only use about 5 feet.

If I go with a SOG style it will be a "mini" SOG in the 18g tote which is 18" by 14". That would be big enough for 18 plants in 4" rockwool cubes on a bed of perlite about 15 inches deep. I may pick up a second tote...

I sure wish these were feminized seeds.

sounds great, highly recommend a SOG run its just so much fun.
what type of watering system are you going to use? i'm using arrow drip heads, but my mate just got some flora caps on his current run and let me tell you, these work great with rockwell. for my next run i'm thinking to switch to rockwell cubes as well. do you have an experience with the cubes in a full cycle? the only thing i'm concerned about is the smell that might come of the cubes.

Never used them before, but I have heard of peeps using them for SOG grows.

I love F2's because of the recessive genes. Sometimes you can find very special pheno's that are worth stabilizing or crossing.
Definately subbed!
