They finally put a cushion between them n Indians, this team should do some damage in st season with this rotation. I'd move porkchop to closer..dude throws smoke n has good stuff.
That would have been crazy talk a few weeks ago. He looks unreal right now. 103mph on the gun last night!

Indians do this yearly, blow their load n hang around til August n freefall to around. 500 or worse by seasons end..pretenders. I don't see Boston scoring runs in Detroit in the playoffs...Detroit looking great n should coast into world series Rep for a.l. Verlander starting to look good too now.

I couldn't be more excited about this team right now. I actually feel better about their chances with Iglesias in there instead of Peralta. Perez is looking good at 2'nd too. He and Iglesias are gonna plug up the middle of that infield for many years. Pitching, hitting, defense. This could be a good ride

Lions and Red Wings are shaping up nicely too! :bigjoint:

I agree with you about Inglesias. He brings something different to the lineup. You can not argue with the productivity
Peralta had from SS this season but, if I remember correctly he gets owned in the post season. I highly doubt you see
Inglesias trying to do to much in the playoffs.

Defensively the kid is a magician.

I think miggy can catch Davis in homeruns with a torrid 6 weeks n repeat triple crown ... Sherzer might finish 23-1 . Bring on the playoffs.

I have no doubt that Miggy could pull that off. I'd like to see him rested and healthy come playoff time though. He seems to be limping around out there quite a bit. Maybe just let him DH the rest of the way and hope he doesn't have to leg out too many singles.

I will be surprised if he does not catch Davis to be honest. Verlander needs to get right before Oct. but, they are right where they need to be.

I don't know if it's because Det is so fun to watch, or the Yankees are just such an embarrassment but, my adoptive team is becoming my actual team.
It' s weird switching teams as an adult.

Cabrera is gimping around, think u are right rest these guys down the stretch ..they look tired. Plenty of lead still to throw it in cruise control. Sherzer gets #20 today .prince goes deep.

4-1 in 5th , I'd Yank sherzer after this inning n rest him.

Up 5-0 n looking good, should tie this series up tonight. Verlander n sherzer in 2 of the next 3 should be enough to advance to the world series.
