Once I know weather it has ball sacks or pistils.. is that when i take the clones?

using the rockwool method is ok. i would wait til after you sex the plants b4 even considering cloning. i harvest the plants and regenerate them. this way i will already have sexed the plant, flowered it harvested it and smoked some of it, b4 i deem one more worthy than any another to be the queen of my growroom:blsmoke:

clones really are pretty difficult in rock wool.they require a ton of maintainence . it is best to take clones while the mother plant are in vegetative state. problem is you need to flower the plants to know the sex. you can either flower the plants, determine sex then set lights back to vegetate until you decide to flower again and then harvest, or just let em flower normally, sex em and remove males. harvest and set back under lights.
if you want to start making clones, i would first start with buying a feminized seed strain (all females) that way you know that yer plants are females while they are vegetating. just sex and flower yer plants normally bro, and instead of killing the plant when you harvest it, vegitate the plant again after its been harvested

How can you vegetate a plant after its harvested? Sorry for all the questions man bongsmilie ... the way i see it is if the plant is harvested and choped up and hanging up for dry.. whats left to veg?

wait.. do you mean just cut off all the bud then set the lights back to veg?

I have a 150Watt HPS .. yes yes i know i should get more but im not going to get anymore... the whole purpose of this was to get the light closer to my short blueberry bush... ill post some new pictures in a few minutes

i think the solution in the begining was to just raise the lights. how many watts?

no problem man its my pleasure to be helpful. yes you can vegetate a plant after its been harvested. you can have many harvests from one plant. no, do not cut off ALL the buds before you vegetate again. at your harvest, instead of cutting down the whole plant, leave a couple of the branches on the bottom with the small nuggets on it and some leaves. DO NOT CUT OFF ALL THE BUDS. cut off all the big ones fer smoking but you must leave a few of the small nuggets, because this is where the new vegetative growth will come from.

So it will look like a Charley brown Christmas tree after i harvest it. But it will rebound if there are enough branches to stay alive. I will need to switch it from the 12/12 back to the 18/6 immediately. Is this method any better then growing from seed all over again?

it will rebound if you leave some of the small flowers on it. it hard to visualize but the flowers turn into new green growth.i use a 20/4 daylight cycle but 18/6 is just as good. its better than a new seed because it is already rooted and is already as tall as a 3 week old seedling and you will already know its growing characteristics because you have already grown it and you will already know its a female.
the down side to a regenerated plant, is that it is said that the regenerated plant will lose potency. thats why i use them to make clones. or if i dont need clones i may harvest it again but i will not regenerate a plant to harvest buds more than one time. every plant is killed after 1 regen cycle. i may someday have some kind of awesome mother plant that i may keep vegetating and just keep pulling clones off it and never flower it again.
