Haha those gavitas are kind of cheating. If you stand in that room with your eyes closed and imagine the sound from the fans as waves crashing you would swear you are at the beach.
How high are those. I see some people reporting they can't even use their 1k turned all the way up start getting stress. They at about 9-10ft height

I've also been seeing this "Schwazzing" technique and tbh, I'm pissed that people are falling for this TREND. As others have said, it's just defoliation; nothing new...this is just his way of doing it. I personally prefer to manicure and prune constantly throughout the growth cycle. Anyways...here are some links to my side by side... Check it out and if anyone would like to suggest anything I need to do differently please do so. I am trying to ensure this side by side is done right...

Intro:
Ep. 1:

I also have a community on Google+ for growing...not a typical 420 forum... I'm not sure on the rules here yet so I won't post the link...but if anyone wants it just hit me up.

All depends on the veg time. I would never trim the fans in flower. If you want to harvest the lower buds then you can just hang some vertical bulbs.

Just drive a rusty nail into the bottom of the main stem of your plants. 10,000% more trichome production guaranteed!

Defoliation is such a stupid thing to do. Why do plants of any type grow leaves? To capture the energy of the light and make food for more growth! Cut the leaves off and the plant directs it's energy into replacing those leaves. Energy better directed into building bigger buds. During the stretch period after flipping to flower your plants will eat more than any other time in their life. How do they get the energy to use that extra food? They get it from light! To use that energy they grow leaves! If anything I would wait until the stretch period is over then chop out the big fan leaves to let more light into the lower buds. I don't chop anything and some of the shaded colas have the best looking trichomes on the whole plant. It's a harsh life up there under those lights and the top colas get it the worst.

I can't hardly understand that this subject is still up for debate. It's like believing in a GOD that will decide whether we spend eternity in Hell or Heaven. You die, you become dirt. Game over, do not put in another coin. All your dead friends and relatives will not be there to welcome you into the bosom of Christ. Or Allah or the cow you prayed for. Death is like life before you were born only a lot longer.

It's not death I fear but the means of it that concerns me.

:peace:

Saw this article on this and was a defiant has anybody read this book??? For $500 they asking for a pretty hefty price but mainly was wanting to know has anyone tried the defoil technique that is used where on the first day of flower all fans are striped. Then on 21 day of flower all fans are striped again. They call it schawazze or something like that lol but just wanting to know has anybody tried this before and got good results? Will be trying on some plants just cus I want to see if this is true.

thats what the author said, the book is for traditional 1ks, now with im guessing de hes getting over 4 a light lol
I said it before, probably on this thread, I've done 3+ a light a couple times, under a custom 1200w hood in a 4x4x7 area. I'm about to pull, looks about 2-2.5ish from under at a thowie, from some stunted, nute deficient plants, that I'm running in a tent for the first time, having heat issues, and they got neglected during the 2 weeks around Xmas and new years. They also didn't fill the tent.

So with proper care, a full tent, and now that I've got my environment dialed in, I'm expecting to be back around 3 every run. I didn't need a $500 book to tell me how, just lots of reading here.

Naw I haven't bro but I don't have the type of setup no run feed the plants the same plus I don't know if I can strip mines bare like that lol. Jungle Boyz do something similar they call one node strip all fans off except for at the top node. I may do it on a tester plant and run one without doing anything see how it does
