I think he is a little ticked off! .... He also tells it like it is!

"Hey Alan, let's get a few things straight...

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.

4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission is proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

Didn't Social Security taxes actually go down under Obama? From 6.2 to 4.2% I think. I don't understand the claim of income taxes going up. That simply isn't true. What taxes have gone up?

My dad is a life long Republican. He was a career fighter pilot in the Air Force. He is now retired, collecting pension and SS. I have to remind him of how hypocritical he is when he complains about "them damn tax and spend Democrats". Almost everything he has ever earned came from the Federal Government. I just laugh. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. He served and paid into the system. He also spent a career paying a lot higher tax rates than we pay today. His father paid even more. I think these Americans deserve to have their Country live up to its end of the bargain.

Some people think SS is a tax and that a pension is something you get taxed for. Most people see any kind of payroll deduction as a tax also. Some people see any kind of monetary function of the government as taxation.

SS and Pensions are funded by the user and the employer. They are not entitlements. You do not get taxed for them. SS Is not a entitlement. Medicaid and Medicare are entitlements. If you reach a certain age you will get your SS money, but if you never get sick and never get hurt you will not receive any medicare or medicaid benefits.

Social Security is an investor funded program that has also been used to fund the government, it is NOT an entitlement program nor was it intended to be any form of welfare. The “entitlement” the government speaks of would be more aptly applied to them; they feeling they are entitled to avail themselves of our investments and use that money for whatever they choose to.

It's a benefit because if the government had not invested your contributions so wisely, there wouldn't be anything there.
A perfect example of government programs gone wrong. Started with the best intentions (or so they say) and ended up a nightmare.
Yeah, let's give the whole medical industry over to 'em, they REALLY know what they're doin'. Then they can unionize all the doctors into a doctor's union and all the nurses into a nurses union, then they can subvert the election process even further. Who needs a TWO party system, that's getting us nowhere (see last 2 weeks of bickering), let's make it simple for those victims of government schools, just ONE party....
