Basicly this is it in a nutshell without going into severe detail, im Running Soiless medium (70%SUNSHINEMIX#4/25%EARTHWORMCASTINGS5%ADMENDMENT). ADVANCED NUTRIENTS PH PERFECT CONNI BLOOM WITH OR WITHOUT REST OF LINE UP MIXED DIRECTLY WITH MY PURE OPPM RO WATER COMES OUT TO A PH OF A 5.5-5.7 EVERYTIME. HOW IS THIS PH LEVEL CONDUSIVE TO NUTRIENT UPTAKE WHEN ALL IVE EVER BEEN TAUGHT IS OPTIMAL RANGE FOR SOIL/SOILESS MEDIUM IS ~PH6.5. I HAVE WENT BACK TO USING MY SEMI-HARD WELL WATER WITH A STARTING PPM OF 250 AND PH @6.5 OUT THE LINE .NOW HARD WATER IS GIVING ME PROBLEMS AGAIN. CAN I USE A.N.CONN. SAFELY AT THAT PH RANGE OR NO?

No, soil less is 5.8 . Regardless, the peat will lower the ph of the castings somewhat. Don't think the Conni is designed to be run with raw products like that though.

Hey BROBIE thanks for the reply, so by saying "NO" Soil less is 5.8", Are you saying i should be perfectly fine feeding in that ph range in my soil less mix?

The PH perfect line is supposed to be at 5.8, that's what the Ph perfect adjusts to on its own, and that product has chelated nutes and some other scientific shit going on that helps plants feed easier so ph becomes less important. Using soil less you should be feeding your nutes at 5.8 anyway, or near that range. Soil is what 6.3 - 6.8, but most would say 6.5, and hydro 5.8 - 6.3 but most would say 5.8. Hydro is anything other than soil, so your soil less grow should be 5.8.

The ph perfect is designed to even work in a soil grow at 5.8 because of the chelate and other shit going on with the product.

I use L-amino's to help my crops with chelate (ke-late). Cannabis is a c3 plant and it can only use L-amino's or left handed, left spinning amino acid's. There are some of AN's nutes that have a bunch of stuff that cannabis can't even use.

Ph perfect also contains Wet Betty which is a wetting agent or surfactant, which lowers the surface tension of water so the plants can drink easier.
I just use one drop of organic dish soap per gallon of water. Basically it makes your water wetter, something to do with the hydrogen atom in the H20.
Kind of like how when you do dishes but oil and water doesn't mix so you use soap. A wetting agent or surfactant makes it easier for solids and oils to mix with water. Nutrient salts being the solids in this case. I suppose helping those salts dissolve, TDS total dissolved solids. Or something like that.

Twist, you are a wealth of knowledge my friend and thank you, I gotta say being a newby to the A.N line up and even with my small hard water problem i got going on rite this moment, My plants have never looked this healthy since i started growing 6 years ago, deficient free, brightly green colored lush cannibus plants is all that fills my tent! Snake oil my ass..fricken haters

Frizzelrip, I must agree 100% I just started using the PH perfect line with big bud and later overdrive ...best grow I've ever had ..NO problems at all !! 5 wks of big bud 2 wks of overdrive and a wk of clear water flush !! Can't wait till this grow is cured !! Just started a couple more , now I need a few femd sativas for the next grow !!

Like stated in that article the ph inside the medium is more important than what the freed ph is. Pro mix/Sunshine contains dolomite line to buffer it to as close to neutral as they can since the ph of the peat is 4.5 or so naturally. This is why people start having issues in long veg or late flowers as the lime is used up which kills the ph buffer and the food salts have build up in the media especially if you don't water to run off.

Also 25% work casting is a bit much and would probably cause water retention. You can just top dress the plant with work casting before you water and they'll be broke down into the roots

Perhaps you should read the label on Conni and get a few grow under your belt and some experience first. Conni is only for master growers that understand calcium lockouts and high P lockouts. If your uncertain about what your ph should be in said medium your not ready for Conni try sensi bloom or jungle juice a few grows first.

Nah ill stick with my conni, plants look great, just a simple PH question for said nutrients. TOP TO BOTTOM says nothing of the sort about high phos.lockout or cal lockout,

I'm trying to keep up with this thread but I must have missed something.
Who is abusing kids? I will take a socket and cord hooked to a 600 watt HPS bulb and shove it in some ones bum then turn it on if they are abusing kids.
And.... I will duct tape it in too so there is no trying to take it out when it gets hot, rofl. It will be like, One man, One bulb, 600 Watts of deep light penetration in the ass.

You can find it online. Having said that no matter what the allegation people are still innocent until proven guilty but I guess it was bad enough publicity that Mike bought out the other owners.
