Thinking of a new light ..

I thought I was being patient!

I could look at that plant and that light every day!

The "burn -in ' time of the new CXA fixture is over by now ..
And It gave me pretty useful ' insights ' ...

The plant now ,is growing with another type of led lights ...
( I just have to confirm some ' things ' , regarding NW 4000K + WW 2700K ... :fire:...)

Still,I beg for more patience ...
At one point you'll get to see what kind of yields ,the 4x CXA3070 while driven @2A ,are able to ...'support' ..
...
And I'm seriously thinking of going on production with that led fixture ...
( Two types : the 'large ' one with two heatsinks and 4x CXAs and a 'smaller' one with one heatsink ,two fans and
2x CXA 3070 ..)

At the moment ..
I do not have the fixture ,right here with me ...
In fact ...
The new fixture is being tested ,by an agriculture university's testing facility...
With several different kinds of plants underneath it ...
(I got it for one day ,in order to make some 'improvements'...

And the results ....(So far ..)
Oh,those results ....:fire:

Be more patient .
Have a look ,on how other grows utilising CXA3070 3000K ,are doing ...

I'm pretty sure you'll get a rather 'solid' idea ,of things to 'come'..

Cheers.

Actually I've always been a great fan of music ...
Almost all kinds of music ...
And I like also listening to great sounding music ...
Hi-End Audio Equipment was always a dream ....
Along with that ...

(916 PS -Top speed is electronically limited to 217 mph (349 km/h)-1395 kg )

Anyway ...
In my next ride on this planet ,I'' be rich ..

For the time since I'm able to build (photoshop!!! :P...)
Led grow lights ,that can be as High -End as possible ....
I'll keep doing so ,when needed ...:P..

I've fair to good photoshop skills ...

Cheers!
(:

3x3 x50w a sq ft= 450watts. That is the rule of thumb for HPS.
Hmmmmmm.

4 ea CXA3070 3000K Z4 @ 1.4A = 52W @ 39.3% efficient........
That would be 208 watts to cover the same 9 sq ft.
23.1 watts per sq ft.
Comments???

I sure as hell hope this works!!!!!!

At 40w sq ft of combined led and cmh, I get 50.5 grams per sq ft.
I would love to cut my power bill roughly in half!!!!!!!
Well I was looking for something else and I just have to reply to my own comment.

The outcome of going to CXA3070 has done very very well. It works!!!
