Thinking about cutting some off to sample

Im at week 7 right now with Northern Lights. A lot of the hairs have turned red and Im thinking about cutting off some to see how I like it at this point. I bought a scope and its on the way but wont be here for a few days for me to know for sure.

Im thinking of cutting off one of the side buds as they look more ready than the main cola.

You guys think I should cut off a branch just to try or wait another week?

if you are in your right mind you would leave it................. shame im not in my right mind.............. im using 6 week flowered bubblebomb on my volcano and its bloody good...............

You know that you are going to cut it regardless of what we say, Get it done man you might find that trying that bit might make you harvest earlier. THC degrades the longer you leave it, some people like to harvest early because they like the stone they get.

No, I really value you guys opinion and this site has helped me so much so far.

you bet, i hardly ever go more than 7 weeks, seems more trippy to me.............

A good rule of thumb

Clear try-chromes = active high

Amber/brown = couch-lock. No more than 30 to 50% as it still keeps aging after you cut.

Ok Im going to cut off a branch right before lights on in the morning. Thats the best time right? My microscope should be here in a few days and I'll wait for it to chop the rest.

i just chopped a nug off mine earlier today. stuck it in front of my grow room heater for 5 minutes it shrunk up to about half the size , packed in my bong, filled the ice catch as i was expecting it to be harsh, and i was pleaslently surprised. I was higher than id been in a while not harsh at all, it was dried for 5 minutes so it obviously tasted green, but it was very floavorful, fruity, tasted like water melon. still has a week or 2 to go though. Cant wait. It was some random bagseed and real crystally so now im just calling it watermelon frost

Id leave it alone until ready...that increases potency so ive heard...may be wrong tho

Vaping on some 5 week AK 48 as we speak. When I plucked it most of the trichs looked milky with a few amber. Just took a few buds off the same plant today..about a week later..and most of the trichs look amber to me. Think I wait a few more days and take the rest cept for a little then put the mamas back in veg. and hopefully do it all over again in a month or two.
