Thermal adhesive tape?

So I'm wondering with led strips like Bridgelux EB strips, or Cutter's cree/nichia strips and they dont seem to have any mounting holes, and ive seen they are usually taped or glued with thermal compound/tape?

My main question is how long would the thermal adhesive tape last?

Will they slide around? I really don't wanna come back to see all the strips dangling from their wires lol

Anyone used the thermal adhesive tape?

There are definitely holes to put screws through on rigid strips.
Can't speak of tape, but the thermal adhesive I have is so strong that nothing comes off without breaking. I prefer screws.

We used 3M adhesive tape for bridgelux vestas, worked well for 20w per strip.

3 metres? Were they strip lighting?

Not 3 meters, He's talking about 3M, (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing), .the company that makes the tape
