Thats great to hear...you're going to love a cob project.
I posted a video on how to build in my thread about a week ago that weight help with some things. But it's pretty intuitive and straight forward. And sounds like it's not your first rodeo with some electronics.

Great last grow too

Yeah man, it was your video that made me look at the other threads, and eventually made me end up deciding to try it out. Lol, my plan was to basically build something similar to yours. I appreciated that you put that part number up for the holder, and showed how to use it. And thanks a lot!

Lol no west side here. We had some pretty strange monsoonal inflow kind of made everything humidity Florida like but usually out of here by area too little foggy in the summer but the days and nights are pretty dry perfect for some of those ocean grown varieties. Love your grows take it easy man.

I tried to do 50 miles on the bicycle today, man I must be brain dead, only made a little over 20 and was actually wondering why I was so tired :dunce:.

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend-if you're not working ;)

So, I need some help from you all...I'm looking for strain suggestions, since I'll be getting some new seeds soon. As far as what I'm looking for- I have a reaaaalllly high tolerance, so I'm looking for the strongest strains I can easily get my hands on (Attitude, or something similar, but I like their coffee mugs). Taste would be nice, but I don't have a particular thing that I'm looking for. As far as the buzz is concerned, I'd like it to be very strong-either body or mind, or both. So far, I really like the HSO Trainwreck, BF Liberty Haze, and the 1024 is pretty good too, with a very unique taste(those are listed in no particular order). Right now, I'm thinking about BF LSD, the Trainwreck, and more 1024 and LH, but I really want to try something new!! I was thinking I would give the LSD another try, since I killed the girls I tried to grow last summer o_O So please, if you have any recommendations, I'd really appreciate them:)

On a side note, I popped 3 Liberty Haze seeds and a 1024 seed into a wet paper towel for germination:) My power supply should be here Monday, I'm not sure why it took forever...oh well... so I'm going to put that light together Monday night. Then I can put my germinated seeds in some dirt hopefully :)

Also, I think I want to add a 3590. Any suggestions on the color temp, based on the fact that I'm putting together a 3070 3000K now? I was thinking I would add a 4000K, but I'm waffling on the 2700K...I think I want to replace the black dog with CXA's and use the whole 3x2 area....

LSD is a great strain(awesome trippy high imo) and got big for me under HID...........

if looking for a knockout on the cheap tut by pyramid comes to mind. Their amnesia strain is also considered a complete couch lock=== never tried it.

one of the strongest I've ever smoked was Durban Poison.......looks like nothing , but yowza!!!!!!====narcotic almost; don't recommend growing it indoors though. maybe it will work for you under that BD panel/w training??

Thanks PSU....I checked out the Sensi Seeds 'Durban' on Attitude-they say it is an outdoor strain as well. I mean, but aren't they all? haha. The descriptions on the net that I've read definitely make it seem like a good choice.

I'll check out the other two later tonight when I get home:)

Hahaah. Nice! If it wasn't for the fan.. looks like you'd need an engine hoist!
LSD, did grow LSD, i'd forgotten... wasn't any huge haul but packs a punch.
Another vote for LSD:) Thanks man. Haha, yeah, those heat pipes remind me of an exhaust manifold.

Goji! I think that is one that was sold out on me when I placed my order, that and Sunshine Daydream were on top of my list and both were out. Think I got JUST Dream Beaver but I have heard a lot of good shit about bodhi.. Though I am a fan of not so crazy names.

Let there be COBble-jobbed light!!!

light.jpg light2.jpg

So, like most noobs, I broke my tap on the first go. Forgot to use a bit of oil...seems like no matter how many times people tell me things, or how many times I read them, I never learn until I fack it up. LOL. Just so you guys know, 6-32 screws will work on the COB holder. That was the smallest size tap Home Depot had, so I was going to drill out the holes on the holder, but it wasn't necessary.
