Is it possible to grow a weed plant inside by a window? I have a window with a couple of hours of direct sunlight, shines right in. I have one plant going right now, just wondering if this is possible or if anyone has done this. I have seen in on a movie.......Nice Dreams:blsmoke:
You can to give supplemental sun, but you have to remember; for a plant to photosynthesize properly,no less than five hours of direct sun.

No, he's not insulting you. He's actually showing that he cares. Cares about someone he doesn't even know. Gotta admit, that's something. :)
the point he was making is that if you have a plant and you ne know when leo is going to knock on your door ... there are always threads "cops came to my door what am i going to do ...get youself a couple of lights and a closet and away you go.....also when it comes to buding you need 12hrs of darkness...ws not to quote seamaidem..but she is right just trying to help:joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

I understand he was trying to help, thats why is I said "I appreciate your concern". But what he failed to realize was no matter what he said about his friend being busted or how no yield will come from this.....I'm still going to do it, then it will be fact to me. I started this thread merely to see if anyones done it before. Angus had a friend who did it, but they were only seedlings when his friend got busted...

Angus was dead on with his post on the idea. You are the one that said you thought it would be cool. Cool is a term commonly associated with what others think of you is why he probably thought you were looking for some kind of cred with your buddies.

Doing something like this with very little chance of getting anything out of it, except a few cool points with the risks associated doesn't seem like a good idea if you think about it.

Put one outside in a nice hidden spot, don't tell anyone and give it a chance to be healthy and productive.

What's the point of growing a long piece of spaghetti noodle with 2 leaves on top of it only to finally watch it fall over and die all at the risk of a felony arrest?

I did this in the begining of my grow. I moved it from one side of the house to the other every day. It grew stretched and skinny. Not untill I moved it outside under the sun when the temps were ok did it really gro. Its now about 5' tall. Good luck with your experiment.

i have one sitting in my front window, i use it as a cover for the rest of my plants......its BC and the cops coulden't care less about "just one plant for decoration"......i have to keep it isolated from the rest of the house with a blanket over its shelf for it to bud tho.

Of course it is. But to fruition...? Or how well? Too many variables to take into account. For instance, all my windows are double-paned. Even being in direct sun in April almost all day long they STRETCHED. Also to consider, latitude.

yea, most of the time it is just for deco....the buds are prighty loose, and you gota use a small strain so it doesn't get to tall.....they do streach ALOT.

I get buds but not huge colas in window grows. At least, they are secure.
