No i don't have pictures because the camera wont do good detail it is to fuzzy. I have a vortex exhaust fan but I cant use it because it makes the room hotter. it sucks all the refrigerated air out of the room. The weather here gets in the 100's and up so it is to hot to pull in out side air. That is why I got a refrigerated air conditioner. I have the room sealed off from the attic air and I open the door 2-3 times a day to get fresh air in. I can take pictures of the room if that can help with the idea. It seems that it is only that hot under the light so I raised it up to 26". P.S. the temp went up to 89.
If you don't have constant air flow through your grow room or CO2 your plants will suffer . . .

Prolonged temps above 85 will stunt growth as well.

I've got 6 plants flowering under 210W of 2700k CFL, and 70W of HPS (not yet mounted,) and I'm growing in soil.

I don't have pics of my grow room yet (charging camera battery,) but I do have pics of one of my girls...

I began LST about a week ago (meant to do it WAY earlier,) but she hasn't hermed out on me yet...she's got bud sites in numerous places, but she hasn't started packin' it on yet. Anyway, here she is:

Girl #1 (White Widow from Marijuana-seeds.nl)

Girl #1 from the side...topped at 3 weeks old (she is now 5 1/2 weeks old)

Stem #1 on Girl #1

Stem #2 on Girl #1

Stem #1 TOP on Girl #1

Stem #2 TOP on Girl #1

So...what do you guys think?

Thats actually a good set up Ripdamon. I would think to minimise some of the heat in the room you could build a cool tube for that light.

but most importantly is how your cooling the room. in order to condition a room you have to have some sort of return in the room.
So depending how much that ac is putting in the room you have to have a little more being pulled out.

That room in the attic is gotta have an insane heat gain. So realistically you probably need atl east 3/4 to a full ton of air to get the temps down below 80 degrees.
whats the size of that window shaker? BTU's wise.

Welcome Eastman. Those girls are looking good.
Are you going to stay in those containers? Or are you going to transplant into bigger pots?

Nah I'm going to leave them...I wish I could, but I can't get my hands on containers any bigger than these. I'm just going to try every little tip/trick I can to get as big of a yield as I can off of this, my 1st grow.

Btw...I have 5 other plants, all female White Widows except 1...which is an Afghan x Mazar plant.

Well a bath vent is usually a 4" supply duct only adding 50 cfm. you will get a better outcome by pulling a 8" return vent and jsut tying it in to your return plenum box and it wont rob your ac out of the house.

Use that and the combination of that AC in there and you'll be golden.

Adding a return vent is super easy.
Supplies:

8'' tab collar
8" flex
10x8 boot
Zip ties
Foil tape
Mastic

Cut your return High in the room.

Here's what they look like today Breakneck.
I put the pc fan on them today to strengthen up my stems.

They be under the CFL's for another week or two. Before they go under the Metal Halide.

I need to finish up some I have going on right now under my Hps in the flowering room.

Yours are looking better than mine lol

Well I got the room down to 81. I also hooked up the exhaust to the light fixture, but I think if I can get a light box with a 4" hookup I could suck the heat off the bulb better. My line from my bathroom is 6". And I only have 1
BIG like 20" return line going to my house unit. So I dont quite understand what you mean joe camel.
I dont have an 8" line I could steal from the house.
I now have to leave the house A/C fan on house unit on 24/7 . because if it gets turned off the 4" exhaust vortex fan will suck the room so hard that it will pull the mylar up from the floor knocking every thing over including my plants.

P.s to all it means a lot for all the support. Thanks
