I have (1) 800 GPH that moves my RDWC setup now. I need to add a chiller. I have no experience on what I will need other than a $300 chiller. Easiest way?
Not sure buddy, I'd have to look at your set up.

Easiest solution is adding a 350-400 GPH water pump in Tidy Cat to the Water Chiller back into the Tidy Cat and vent the exhaust out. What type of exhaust? Liquid?Gas?

But than Im running 1 pump to circulate the system and 1 pump just the chiller itself. Why does it seem like 2 water pumps would greatly depreciate the effectiveness of the water chiller.

Yes, should it be in a different room? What does the chiller exhaust and how hot is it. AKA Tubing for water drips, fan + duct?

one water pump creates heat.

In a closed area they'll make it pretty warm, a 1/10th horse less than a bigger chiller but still you'll have to exhaust that heat

Gots to sleep buddy, starting work 30 minutes early because we have an inspection. start time 6 am, luckily the job is only 5 minutes from the crib.

Oh word you mean heat exhaust like from my dehumidifier n shit. yeah yeah I got fans n fans n fans. Just call me Mac Miller~! lol. Yeah I'm okay with units giving off a little heat. I run fans over my ballasts and air pump. Plus my massive fans constantly have gale force winds in my grow room. I prob dont even need to air cool my reflectors lmao.

I turned the 600w off and turned off the heat and fans. The room temp dropped and the 1000w seems to have enough light coverage in the Raptor6 to support all 4 plants till the temps drop and operations can return to normal.

How long do you use your air stones for? Do they get "old", I notice a difference between my old n new stones.

depends for me, sometimes I get new stones every cycle, sometimes I forget shit and run them several cycles soaking them in h202 that would take your skin off.

I throw them out every grow. $1.80 per stone, $3.60 per plant whatever. Check out my macros in my thread. I thought they came out pretty well.

Good -- Shoveled my drive way out. Neighbor came by and widened it with his snowblower. Some of them drifts were 5ft tall.

Lost power for an hour, I tried hard to remain optimistic, power came back on an hour later just before lights on. Crisis adverted.

Alright hydroguard holding down the res till my broke ass can afford a chiller. :-) I have to flower soon, lightproofing new room AND putting up a temporary wall to split the room in half (veg and flower OBV). Cycling on & off my 600w MH to keep the res temp down and letting my 1k HPS run consistently. I should probably black and white atleast the Tidy cat bucket. I know thats not lightproof... as for the totes I am not so concerned about.
