I stuck one straight into final pot, the small pot one is 8 days behind the other.. I'm re-potting smaller one to final pot today -wanted to see if much of a difference ,when repotting as opposed to straight to final pot..
Happy growing

That's cool. It not very accurate. Even with the same strain and planting straight to final pot I get size differences.

You said you put one in final pot and up potting the other to see which one gets bigger to see if going to final pot makes bigger plants.

Just sayingthts not accurate enough to base a decision on. Like with the Heisenberg. Two of them straight to final pot. One was twice the size of the other.

It would take several runs of one to final pot and up potting one to really know.

One time wouldn't let you know that.

Grow on. We will see.

Yeah i understand only one run won't prove much and all seeds/plants are different but I'm sharing MY experience in growing theses auto's..

Ontoh I agree with you that auto's should go straight to final pot and i will probably do it for an auto grow (guerrilla ..Scotland) in June/July as its too cold wet etc for photos)
Happy growing

A guerrilla grow in the summer in Scotland? Where did you find a 5 DAY strain lol. I am in the north of England and I would be wary of growing outdoors unless it was a fast turnaround auto as well. As you say, we don't seem to do warm, dry summers.
I must admit I was thinking of putting one sour liver in a final container and one to be transplanted up when I finally get space to start in my cupboard, just to see if it made a major difference. I was also going to top one and leave one to see if that made a difference. Basically see if what is taken as gospel about auto's really is true for myself. I will be keeping an eye on your grow as we seem to think alike.
Saying the above, I can see exactly what @whitebb2727 is saying about needing several runs before you can get a clear picture. He makes perfect sense.

I don't disagree with @whitebb2727 about putting them straight into final pot but it is MY grow and yield isn't my priority - just getting to know auto's (only grown a few over 6 yrs).. and @itsnotoregano I plan on doing auto's outside (guerrilla) between June/July or Aug - I'll be doing auto XL version of this plant @ day 32 >IMG_2601.JPG happy growing
