The Truth About Flushing

well if the stuff I have put here does not make sense then Google is your friend as this is science, not mj forum hype. Simply search for what plants do when deprived of oxygen in the root zone ?

And experiments are your friend as well, so boil the roots on one and chop one and compare.

I know a lot of growers that do the boil thing, pretty sure none of em are gonna stop but then again no one is twistin no ones arm here, you either try it or you don't. Those that have tried it tend to do it for some silly reason, oh wait it speeds up the cure, that's why we do it
You ever grow buds that don't need to be cured to taste bomb? I've grown a few strains that never lose the smell and taste kill with only a 6 or 7 day dry. I've noticed the ones that do this are the ones with the most tricomes, they are usually quite visible by day 14 of flower. It's the ones that have a dense hard bubblegum like texture.. you know what I'm talking about?

Yo @RM3 your drowning technique is a pre cure method right? So does it help retain the smell during drying and also u say to drown em for 7-14 days but u didn't specify when to do so I am 13 days from chop should I start now ?also what about nutes continue feeding nutes im in soil so I'm going with the continuous water route to drown

DO NOT DROWN, it has been known to cause mold, why we all switched to boiling em,

Do Not flush, wait till they are done and ready to harvest, water with boiling water, do not move! leave plant under the lights for 3 to 5 days it will fade quickly and take on a done look, chop & dry as you normally do

Has for burning im un sure of that i have had some really nice bud that just would not burn right ,we all ways put this down to not been flushed,But i get what your saying its not has important has everyone thinks, but its still important part of my growing,I have been to a few talks that say flushing is really important to get the chemicals out of the end product, that makes me think should we be using em if they are making such a big thing about getting them out of the plants,

Great post though rm3 very interesting, like post that have the right info,

I can tell good hash from bad by the ash, just burn a piece till you get a small piece of hash let the burnt bit ash, fall into palm of your hand ,then rub should rub clean not gritty.I all ways do that test on my hash now

MORE POST LIKE THIS RM3 THOUGH DUDE INTERESTING

My bud never loses it's smell in fact i would say it gets stronger,it just changes in fragrance, the jack herer goes from piney spicey to really fruity I also all ways pick some of my exodus cheese a week early because of the taste,it taste far sweeter.when picked early.Still lovely taste when picked at normal time 9 week but when picked at 8 week,i love the taste ,its like a different strain all together,7 days can be a long time in flowering.I am talking about prem picking when the heads are clear, try it some time with bottoms, but not daft 5/6 week full 8 week rather than full 9 week,or when the heads are just on the change

I can too. When they're not dried and cured properly! Other wise I can tell between hydro and soil and synthetic vs. organic all day long!

Did you know that when given the task. The brain will always find a difference between whats presented?
Even if it's the exact same thing!!!

The flushed plants flower was far more smoother than the none flushed,to get 3/3 that tells you that there was a big difference.

Myth or not i will all ways flush, like organic food sometimes you can't tell the difference but there has to be benefits to a plant drinking plain water for its final 1/2 week, rather than up taking nutrients,

Now i read that it causes mold and is better to boil the water?

WTF?!

RM3 you was so sure in the beginning with the drown method...and now? After 25 pages you suggest to boil and say that drowning causes mold?
