The Strain Thread.

I intend for this thread to last a long time and to turn into a valuable resource. Here's how it's gonna work:Name 1 strain and only one strain, that you consider your all time favorite. I say this because it forces you to really think and not just name strains that may not be up to par. If it's a strain that's not around anymore then that's fine. If it's a clone only strain, then that is also fine. But the intent of this thread is to inform people on the elite of elite strains that they can actually get their hands on. So name your all time favorite strain and what seedbank/breeder it from. If it's clone name the shop. If you didn't get it from a shop or seedbank/breeder that's fine, but still feel free to name the strain. Also name the type of smoker you are eg. are you a "taste" man, or a guy that prefers potency? Are you a "yield" man or are you more concerned with your plants finishing in 8 weeks? So again, to keep this thread with only the most elite of elite strains, you can only name 1 and leave it at 1. Edit your post if things change but keep it at 1. Oh yeah, it doesn't matter if someone else has already mentioned the strain that you had in mind; in fact that is a good thing, as it will better express the greatness of that strain. Thanks in advance everyone. I'll get the ball rolling:White Queen - Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds (yes, I know this is a sketchy seedbank, but the truth is the truth)Priority - Taste

I wish I knew how to format the text better on this board, but I can't figure it out. I hate that the OP came out in one block paragraph like that; it doesn't encourage anyone to read it when it looks like that.

Moby dick by dinefem. ( White widow x haze) to me it has everything. Great taste, great smoke, great smell. Finishes in ~65 days and is a heavy heavy yielder. I call her my bottom bitch

I feel your pain on that one. I did a smoke report on my personal fav and the same thing happened. I spent a lot of time trying to get it just right and make it an interesting read for the folks here on RIU. The first guy who replied to it called my new born baby ugly! Lol He was right, of course, just tactless in his delivery. The last thing he said to me in our short exchange of verbal gunfire was that I would remember that paragraphs were my friend. I'll conceed that victory to him. Lol, again.

Kali Mist is my personal favorite, with the type of high it gives being what I rate as most important to me. She yields reasonably well for a mostly sativa plant. Potancy is exellent and I've yet to smoke anyone up that didn't really like the taste also. Finish time is a little longer, but not unreasonable for a sativa. Serious Seeds provided the genetics. You can't get the beans on the cheap, but in my opinion, they are worth the mark up in price.

Here's a link to my ugly baby, if anyone's interested. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/557393-kali-mist-old-school-weed.html

Lavender by soma seeds, im a potency kind of guy...not really how strong the hit is but what kind of high I get. Lavenders cannabinoid profile is unlike any ive tried before and ive seen loooads of strains. the taste is A+ too but the yeild is pretty small and has alot of mold issues at least when i had her. A must have for sure.

Durban Poison. A real unique, almost 100% sativa with an amazing cerebral high. I care about potency and this strain is wonderful. It sharpens your mind and makes you able to think faster, and despite how amazingly potent and powerful it is, you can function if you need to, and you do so BETTER. Talk about medicinal marijuana, this is an example of a strain that when the sample is great can really be used to great effect for productivity and creative output. Know it by the smaller, yet dense nugs, sometimes with purple tinges. Tastes spicy, with hints of licorice and something exotic, a real delight to smoke, the quality and potent ones won't be overpowering of the licorice smell just a slight bit on the exhale. Not sure who has the best one, heard dutch passion yet i've heard so so things about them. Would appreciate input on best breeder info.
*edit* it also finishes pretty fast as a south african strain, around 6-8 weeks

I have been hunting for some sunsimulator gear for years! I want his ecsd x Mass Super skunk. Any of his sours would be amazing to find. Know anywhere in MI to acquire seeds or cuts?
