hey muck....I believe they are female...I have not seen any balls at the nodes, and the buds look normal so far...It is early though - just the second week into 12-12.....

I'll have to see what I can do later with the pics....i just dont have the time right now...I think there might be a setting ont he camera....It would be a big pain the ass to have to upload them to a pic-resizer site then upload them here....

But I'll try and take some pics tonight - 12 hours or so ?

The fact that I let that male go 2 weeks into flower is bothering me....Someone on another site said that the male was quite developed, and I just might be a daddy....

Anyone know how long before I might know if these two Kerala are pollinated ? I'd hate to transplant to the 5 gallon containers if all they will produce are seeds.....

then again someone commented that the male looked like it came from a good mother..If the kerala are pollinated maybe I grow them to get a bunch of seeds....Anyone know how long I would have to grow them to get viable seeds ?

And then there was 1 !!!! Well turns out one of the KS hermed...Not 100% sure but my guesses would be :

1)over-sensitive to nutes
2)root bound ?
3)Remember when I said the Space Cab was still a work in progress ? Well one of the things I kinda was lazy on was putting a light trap on one of the intakes in the floor....I didn't think it was a big deal as I had plastic over the windows in my cellar, but even with that plastic it was pretty darn bright down there (I have lights off from 6am to 6pm) ...I know its weird but I work more nights so I sleep a lot in the day....

That hermie plant was also the one that had issues with the dying leaves too.....The last plant isn't half as bad...she has lost a few leaves on the bottom, and some yellowing of a few lower leaves but nothing major.....I also just transplanted the last plant from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon...Wow, her roots were really bound in there...I thought the roots in air pots were supposed to go out the holes, and prune themselves ? I may not have had enough dirt in the holes perhaps,,,,,This time i packed in there pretty good.....

So the good news is she will have PLENTTTTTTY of light to hog all to herself, lol.....Right now I got 18 bulbs and the two strip lights on her....Right now I figure I have about 460 watts on her with the ability to add more, lol...

I'm not big into naming plants but I might have to name her after a woman on that survivor show or something...since she is the last one of 5 she is definitely a survivor, lol

Some of the leaves are yellow on the survivor...I read somewhere on another forum that someone said to feed the plant like a typical sativa, and if the leaves turn yellow up the nutes.....Does this make sense to anyone ?

Hey Spaaaacie. Several things can cause yellow leaves but from what I understand they turn yellow because they are not getting enough nitrogen or very weak light. Your lights should be fine. Not enough fert can cause it or the plant isn't absorbing enough from your media. That could be caused by an inbalance of fert that is causing nute lockout. Lockout means it is getting an excessive amount of something that causes the plant not to be able to absorb the Nitrogen. I have also seen plants do this when they have a damaged root system.

Waterlogged media can cause it and will also hurt the roots.

I would guess up the fert. but don't overdo it until you see how it reacts and don't expect it to turn a pretty green overnight.

What kind of ferts are you using?

hey Muck so far I have used Jack's classic all purpose 20-20-20...it says to mix 1/4 tsp per gallon, and that's what I did for two waterings...I then upped it to the next dosage which i believe was 1/2 tsp/gallon....The herm did not like it, and more withering of the leaves occurred....This plant is not as bad as the herm....

I also have Jack's Blossom Booster 10-30-20....I have yet to apply that.....

I have also read that mixing the two produces good results as well...

I was surprised with the air pots...I thought that the roots go out the holes..but that really wasn't the cas...they seemed to still circle the pot....Maybe I did not put enough soil in the those holes good enough for the roots to exit....Also, one of the plants had roots coming out the bottom, and I later realized the bottom of the pot should be three rows up...I ony put it one....perhaps the roots did get damaged ?

I would say the jury is still out for me on the air pots...I did do a lot of reseach before I bought them though, and most of it seemed positive...The negative stuff seemed mostly to come from haters....

I tried typing up a big thing about my next steps for the space cab but I am being blocked from posting it in my own thread for some reason.....admin is looking into it now....

Basically, I would like to get the other chambers going...And, maybe get a feminized seed going in the flower chamber from seed...I got the extra space...I want this thing to produce...I should be getting my Sannies Sugar Punch any day now in the mail....

hey cd , I think the pics make it look huge...I'll take some more pics or measurements to give a better perspective.....The leaves are actually on the smaller side....Also, growth has really slowed down for the last week or so....

But I just got done flushing a few days ago...a day later I transplanted to the 5 gallon....Last night when I looked at it which was about a day after the transplant I didn't see much growth at all really....Maybe in shock from everything ? I am hoping when I go in there tonight I see some good growth....

Wait, are you talking the plant or the actual pics that are huge ? lol ...Cause I just changed the settings on my camera so they aren't as large file-wise, lol

hey ss, check a couple of posts up....The jury is still out for me on them...I will say early on all the plants were doing really good with them.....I also started this grow with party cups, and the roots were really circling in those cups....I have since bought the air-pots equivalent of the party cup so I can run the whole grow through them.

I still have one c99 seed left...I could toss it in the flower chamber now and go 12-12 from seed but I think that could kinda be a waste...Since it's my only one of those seeds left, I kinda wanted to grow it....I got about 4.5 of vertical grow space (that would have to include the pot).....How long should I vegged for to take full advantage of the space but not have it get too big ? Oh, it's Female Seeds c99...was that your brand as well ? thanks, SC

ha, no, i meant when i opened up the pics i had slide bars on the bottom and the side. it was like a movie poster, LoL. i use paint to resize my pics before i upload, found it to be the easiest. that sucks about the lock out, i hate when you write a whole page and try to post and it gives you some bullshit, thats when i resort to 1 liners, LoL.

I'm startin' to get itchy here knowing I have more room in the Space Cab , and nothing else growing....I need to come up with a plan....I was thinking of doing some outdoor stuff this year so I may need one of the two chambers on the left for some veggin' or cloning at some point....

I am tired of males, and balls....I think I might be done with regular seeds for the most part....

But anyways I need to come up with a plan....

I have the following female seeds...

(1) Royal Queen Power Flower - Flower Time 8 to 9 weeks

(1) Female Seeds c99 - 7 to 8 weeks

(5) Sannies Sugar Punch - 9 to 10 weeks

Should I start veggin' one of them in one of the smaller chambers ? Should I put one directly in the flower chamber, and start a grow from 12-12 ?? Should I do both ?

any suggestions guys ? Obviously I am trying to maximize the amount of weed this space cab produces, lol....

As far as outdoors goes...I think I may still order more seeds for that....I have to keep flowering time around 8 weeks though because of where I live (43rd N Latitude in the US)

Rollitup turned it into a dead duck when they upgraded. lol.... c99 can stretch quite a bit but with your setup you may want to veg it for maybe 4 weeks or longer then top it, flip to 12/12 and do some training to utilize your horizontal space.
