Pipe cleaners.. sure, a lot of growers use them. I use 'twist ties' myself. Got them in a roll from a garden center. I was afraid the edges were too sharp and would hurt the stems but I've never seen any damage from them.

I have never grown outdoors or grown autos but I do know that veg times can be much longer outside... like several months for an outdoor sativa. Autos are shorter but my thought is in your climate they may have a better chance than an outdoor sativa that wants to veg for several months. I'm not recommending Autos... just a thought to consider.

Just pulled the trigger on some Sannies Sugar Punch but now I realize I have to order something else to grow with it cause I read that Sugar Punch is so strong that it's not really an everyday functioning during the daytime type of weed...I drive for my job so that might not be so good, lol...I'll just have to order something else to grow along side it.

Sugar Punch really sounds good.... I saw many good reports on it. I checked Sannies and they only accept cash or some kind of bank transfer. Have you ordered from them before? I don't like the idea of sending cash and I wouldn't know how to send an international letter.

This was my first time ordering...I read a ton of reviews...I think 99.9% of them were good...I was also hesitant to send cash as well but the more I read the more I saw that this is just the way....So I bought a 99 cent birthday card, and put the cash in there....I went to the local post office, and it cost $1.15 to send it there.....After reading all the reviews I am not a nervous....Sannie seems like a str8 up dude - he is also the breeder so you are not dealing with a middle man.

Ya right I sure had better watch him....Never know I might look away, and he could take a bite out the fan leaves or something, lol.

love your growbox and how the lights are set up...damn i need to set my future growbox up more properly.

as for your airpots, how are those? i've been eyeing those for awhile.. nice to see one in the works though.

thnx for the compliment....I am still a newb grower..this is only my 3rd grow, and I have yet to finish one...But based on my personal experience, and from what I have seen online I would say they work well...I hear a lot of complaints about watering is a pain in the ass but I don't get that one...I have no problems whatsoever watering...It's really easy...Also, since I have cfls for my setup I have to check on my plants everyday anyways....So I don't see what the big deal is anyways if I have to water a little more because the soil dries out faster......I have no plans of switching at all, and in fact have ordered more already.

here's an updated pic with the T5's turned on....up to 646 watts in the flowering chamber now....I got two gauges in there...one is reading 75 and the other is reading 77....

I had no problem sending cash to both Sannie and MJ at PeakSeedsBC. Both received my cash within a week and both immediately mailed my product. I loved not having my CC involved.

Lol I just won the bidding on a light socket extension on ebay for 11 cents, lmao.....shipping is $1.73 but still....

Ya, I only have two T5's so far and they both are working.....they come with jumpers so you can string up to 10 together.....the only problem was that the jumpers are only 4" long....so I got some wire at the Depot and spliced it in....I also haVe some extra mounting clips, so I am setting it up so I can move the T5's where need be. Maybe the next T5 I'll leave at 6500k for a mixed spectrum...both T5s now are 3000k.

Well found my first male...so now we're down to 4...I figure no biggie I wanted the extra room to put them in some bigger pots anyways....The male was the DGBS (definite good bag seed)...Oh well...

I'm actually down to 3...that other Christmas tree looking plant from the bag seed had balls too....

Hey as long as those Kerala Skunk are females I'm happy.

So we got two Kerala Skunk and one runted bag seed, lol

well...I am now done to two plants...the two Kerala Krush...I got rid of two bag seeds about a week or so ago, and then today to my dismay I found out that the third bag seed was a male...I kept checking the nodes for balls but never found any...then I posted these pics at another site, and was told they are males...I thought the buds looked weird...Now I am just hoping and praying that it did not pollinate the female Keralas....I took some bleach water, and cleaned the cab up a bit...

I also have some issues with leaves turning yellow & brown, and dying off....I'm assuming it was too much nutes...Local hydro guy seemed to think so.....So I just go done flushing them....Also, growth has about stopped in the last 3 days or so....There was a lot of roots in that 1 gallon bag seed I tossed out today....I got a couple of 5 gallon air-pots for the two kerala krush....I prepped the soil last night...Since I just got done flushing I think I will let the soil dry overnight, and transplant them tomorrow...Hopefully the leaves stop dying off....hopefully they are not pollinated....And if they are ok hopefully they take off in more growth...

Hey Spaccccie! So just 2 left. Do you know if they're female yet? What kind of nutes are you using? Most of the time the pics I've seen of burnt leaves were not so pale and yellow.... darker with a lot of edge burn.

And.... I am having trouble seeing you pictures. The viewer pops up then takes sometimes a minute or 2 to actually display. Your photos are sized 4000x3000.... maybe you could resize 'em.?
