Fuk i dont know how i missed this thread .

Anyhow your not alone here at RIU brother , there are a few of us here that are pretty ill & know the bs your going thru , my life is a mess & if it weren't for my wife needing me as her care giver i'd of ate my 45 cal yrs ago & thats no shit .

I was in an explosion on my jobsite where a 1,000 gallon propane tank exploded near me throwing me 50 feet in the air & crushing my spine , to make matters worse i landed near the roofers hot tar kettle & was covered in 600 degree hot tar , i ended up with 3rd degree burns over 12% of my body & a small area of 4th degree burns, 4th degree is automatic amputation from the flesh being fully cooked where it falls off the bone .

I ended up with a broke back , crushed vertibre , ruptured discs , herniated discs , nerve damage , burned to hell all over including my genitals & had a finger amputated where the hot tar cooked the flesh , i was awake the entire time in the burn unit when they peeled & scrubbed the hot tar from the flesh , i finally passed out when they tried cleaning my hand & the meat fell off my finger exposing the bone .

Since then ive had countless surgeries & more scopes jammed down my throat & up my ass than a $2 whore gets dicked , i see 3 doctors a month ever since , im 100% opiate dependant ever since the accident & will be the rest of my life unless neurosurgery makes a huge advance some time soon .

My wife of 40 yrs has the most severe form of Multiple Scleurosis there is & i watch it eat her alive daily , she looks to me for help when her pain is so intense she cant talk & all i can do is inject her with Demerol & feed her Hydromorphone , on her really bad days the Dimensia kicks in & the love of my life dont recognize me & is afraid of me .

Thru all the suffering in my life ive came to realize its not god that let us down its just the way things are .

When all said & done you'll win your case with SSI & you wont have to give the lawyer 33% as another member erroniously reported , SSI lawyers are limited to a maximum of $6,000 or 25% of your claim but at no point to go over 6 grand .

Until you win your appeal just chill & ride it out , every day above ground is a blessing as long as you can find a reason to smile even briefly , seeing my wife walk or cook a meal is enough to keep me going for months .
