The Pokemon Effect, Gotta Grow Em All!

So I was browsing through this forum today looking for strains I am going to want to put on the next seed order and it struck me that I just want to fucking grow em all dammit! There are few strains that I have heard of or seen that I would not like to give atleast one run, all though there is a few breeders I would avoid entirely (different thread) but for most part I want to grow it all from the blueberry to the thunderfuck... I guess my only concern with the exponential growth of dank that I wont have time to grow all the greats, anybody else feel the same as me on this. I just dont want to die not having gotten to see some of the dankest grown out before ky own eyes... call me paranoid lol

LOL I was just telling my wife that this morning! Maybe, MAYBE if I'm lucky and I can live another 40 year's and be able to tend the garden still. I probably still wont get through them all!

IMHO it is good to grow a few Legends and some FOTY hypes, and leave the rest to rainy months.
FI my Legends are the C99/G13/NL lines and hybrids, hypes are the cookies/GDs/rainbows (I call strains that have a very nice variability "rainbows", like Goji OG, or others that explode to nice fire plants). But for me Legends are always first in the line.

I totally agree balk, I want to try some of the new stuff that you hear thrown around on the forum like all of those various cookie crosses and whatever the og of the week is lol. Problem I come to is like with Blue Cheese, on attitude 2 different vendors have it (Im sure more do just only 2 I am considering) so I will prob just grow both eventually. Or the all time copied strain that everyone has a version of seems to be white widow or Northern Lights.Through my own research I have come to know who first brought it about so I can go with them for seed selection but the first white widow I bought was from Nirvana and I doubt that was the stuff that won the cup....There is a lot of this going on nowadays and it makes me wanna just grow from clone so I know what I am getting, do not mind a pheno hunt but like with most of the strains I got from Nirvana, the description is a far cry from what you get. Sativa Doms that are no taller than my indica "purebreeds", that is a problem.

Lol, sativa doms no taller than indica? You clearly have not tried Mango Haze really MNS is about the best for sativa IMO sure nothing pure but clearly some stretchy Haze lines even Super Silver Haze has some stretchy ones you can get some for dirt cheap like the Rock n Roll lines from the Mr. Nice auction I almost guarantee you'll get one for 30 euro 18+ seeds of some stretchy shit they actually yield nice better then a lot of plants just the flower time sucks.

But yeah I have the same problem and don't want too die before trying it all but fucking Chimera just put out a bunch of new lines that I want too try and I'm only 12 years from the age my dad died. But fuck it I'll never be able too run a selection of everything that interests me before I die new shit comes out weekly but I stay away from fem companies if the breeder can only pick great females like me how can you respect them? I am interested In a lot of companies Mandala, DJ Short, Jordan of the Isles, MNS, Chimera, Spice Of Life (just wish it was still Steve and the original lines), Serious seeds, Sensi Seeds, a few more mostly doing MNS as they are about the cheapest when direct at the auction and all kinds of old school varieties I always wanted too try I'm not too big on the flavor of the week but Chimera's clone only crosses I'm going too try as he didn't just fem them more like the original g13 crosses from Nevil way back.

Ya supposed to be a sativa dom strain, obviously not. This space bomb i am growing now stretches like a mofo. I would like to try a lot of shanti and nevilles stuff. What site would you recommend for auctions blunt? Heard skme of the oldbreliable sites arent around anymore and some new ones are scams

Its at mrnice.nl you will see the link on the home page its the only place too get them cheap really a lot is cheaper then Nirvana except the more popular lines of course and you take your time you make out like a bandit I got Black Widow for 44 euro just got nl5 x skunk for 31 and a lot more good prices the Mango ended up costing about $100 still a nice discount and shipping is free if you spend 50 euro or more. I got a ton of good deals their wouldn't buy their seeds anywhere else its just so much cheaper their you just don't get the breeder packs but its direct so nothing to worry about.

If you are addicted to that aspect of growing, stay far away from making your own crosses/strains, that's even MORE addictive AND time consuming, but at the end more rewarding, smoking something that you KNOW not another person on the planet has, is kind of a cool thing. Not to mention some f1s are insane!

and i'd add Sannie's Seeds to that list, its a nice thing to order direct from the breeder.

I did a total noob thing, planted a lot lot of seeds, then went to my old work and they gave me a tray of clones so that I would have one uniform lb to bring in. So now I have some in party cups and some still in the little root riot cubes LOL. FML I gotta get them out before all the roots connect.

Well I thought I would bump this old thread because I am still on the quest to grow them all. Ordered some more seeds, through seedsman this time though and its all bodhi too, figured I would diversify my seed portfilio lol.
Picked up some golden triangle, goji og (excited about this one, it may have moved to the front of my poppin list), and some snow lotus.

I think I may have an addiction to buying the seeds just as much as smoking and growing weed cus every time I order it feels like the week before christmas, just sucks some of these dank ass beans will have to wait to see dirt until I work through what I have already and find keepers and make some room.

lol addictions can be strange. Ive been growing for a few years now, and I finally ordered seeds for next spring, Ive always just used bagseed so this will be an experience.... THC bomb, candy kush autos, royal queen critical fem., NLXbigbud, and skunk haze. Super exited to see what they can do. Ive heard mostly good things about the THC bomb, and ive never done autos before.

I'm addicted to collecting beans. I have way more than I can grow with my dinky little garden. It sucks having grown up and living in an area my whole life where we don't get strain names or anything. It's all street weed and it's all fast flower cash crop shit. Commonly harvested early and not cured. SO naturally when I am looking at strains and bean shopping I WANT THEM ALL! Imagine a kid in a candy store who has only ever had 1 kind of candy in his life.
